I'm having a lot of fun with this typical building game, and I think it has to do with the fact that I can choose between 2 difficulties: timed and un-timed. With these kind of games, sometimes I just want to enjoy the storyline, and getting hung up on having to get a 'gold star' for the level I just completed can interfere with that (I can be a bit of a perfectionist sometimes :] ).
The storyline is pretty basic, but has a few loopholes, which adults and older children might pick up on, but the younger ones will have fun with the magic and talking cats. Unfortunately, the voices of the characters starts to get on my nerves after a while, especially the cat's.
All-in-all, a fun, easy-going (or a-little-harder-going if you wanna play the timed version), and child-friendly game that will keep you entertained and wanting to know what happens in the end, and what exactly McDuckus looks like ;)
I recommend this game!

I got hooked into this game pretty fast. It seems a little short, but I think has quite a bit of replay value. I liked that there weren't any angry 'customers' who'd stomp off, so that made it quite relaxing, even if it got more and more busy as the levels progressed; if you didn't serve a celebrity fast enough, you just get less or no tips. Every new party had a mini-game midway through, most of them quite easy, and you could skip them if you wanted to too. The celebrities dancing made me giggle, and it was fun guessing the real life counterpart of the in-game celebrities.

I tried out the one hour demo. The game is essentially a combination of Match 3 and tower defense. I really liked the idea, and really wanted to buy the game; the only thing that stopped me was the actual matching-of-3. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it was that annoyed me about that part of the game, but I think it seemed more tedious than other Match 3's: if i clicked a wrong piece, I had to double click on another piece to actually select it; just clicking the other piece once only unselected the first piece. As selecting pieces is the major part of the game, finding it tedious made me not want to buy the game. If I had a free game code, I might purchase it in the future, but right now, it's just not for me.
Fun while it lasted...which wasn't very long at all.

I've never really been able to get into the Hidden Object genre of games, but I tried this one based on all the reviews it got. I really enjoyed myself because it's very light-hearted, and not one of those with the creepy noises and creepy scenes etc. Unfortunately, the game is waaaaaaaay too short; I was actually very disappointed when I finished the game about 15 minutes after paying for it when the 1 hour demo trial ran out. Based on the amount of time I took to finish the game, I'd recommend it if you have a free game coupon lying around, but I don't think it's worth paying for.
Tedious game that made me feel like I was devolving

The title and game description caught my attention, but that was where it ended. The graphics are cute, but the actual game play made me want to pull my hair out, and the music was a short tune on repeat.
There is no actual game board, so the organisms you have to match are on the background itself, which makes it hard to see the organisms sometimes and so matches can be hard to spot. The 'game board' doesn't fill up immediately after you make a match, so most of the time, you are reduced to play with a couple rows and/or columns in the lower left corner of the screen. There are no hints, but if you can't find a match, an extra organism or two will drop from the top after about 5 to 10 seconds of inactivity to maybe (but not definitely) give you a match.
I spent just over 28 minutes on one level (last level of first world), and having to evolve your organisms from the bottom of the evolutionary chain each level just makes it tedious. I can just imagine the later levels taking a lot longer to finish. The name definitely fits the game because I can imagine evolution being a very frustrating, 'hit and miss' thing. I didn't enjoy the game one bit.
I don't recommend this game.

I only tried this game because it was the 'daily deal', and found that I enjoyed it a lot more than I had expected I would. While definitely catered more for teenage girls, the game still allows others to have fun while bringing your horse on rides, and compete in endurance races and showjumping events.
I loved how real the game was in the sense of the horse's gait. You can see its gait slow down when it is approaching a high jump, or the gait continue at a gallop when approaching a low but long jump. As somebody who does occasional work with horses, I really appreciated some reality in the game.
I would have liked to have a wider choice of breeds, colours, and markings of the horses, but being able to choose even a zebra or a unicorn definitely made it fun. Only other thing that may be frowned upon is that all controls are by mouse; I would have preferred the mouse with an option to use the keyboard as well.

If you loved LQ1, you will love LQ2. I found LQ2 to be a lot more engaging and fun then LQ1. In LQ2, you are able to choose how your Life Quest develops, which increases the game's replayability. While the basic game play is the same as LQ1, there is more to do, such as remembering to pick up your child from childcare before the end of the day, running for mayor, banking and investing, and completing achievements. My only complaint is that some of the quests, such has having a certain amount of money, can get a bit tedious.

The difficulty of the game does increase slightly between each level in each zoo but I still found it very easy and forgiving. Mini-games within each level added some variety but these were extremely easy as well.
What I found annoying about the game is that there is too much clicking involved just to perform one task. You have to click the animal, click the task you need done in the task bar, then click again on the animal.
There is much that can be improved upon, but at its current level, I found that the game would suit younger players or somebody who just wanted something very relaxing.
This game is a good mix of time management and puzzle. You have to manage customers at the food and drinks stalls during half-time, by making sure they've gotten their snacks and get back to their seats before half-time's over. There is a lot to do, with you the player being in charge of where the customers are going, while also controlling Bea's actions.
There are also mini-games you can play to gain more money to buy upgrades for your stadium. These mini-games bring you back to the old arcade games, such as dodging and jumping over items, or kicking a football as far as you can, and bouncing the football on your head for as long as you can.
Overall, a very entertaining game with a lot of re-playability.
I found that the game got tedious really quickly. The storyline was alright, but actually continuing along it was tiring. Doing the match 3 game to get money to buy items for your farm became monotonous and made me not want to finish the game. Most of the time, it seemed that I was going nowhere. Even when I had finished buying all the items, there wasn't a clear ending to the story.
The only good thing about the game was that the main characters were fun to interact with and sometimes said funny things.
