Good: Cartoon graphics over all are colourful
That's it.
no options on curser, micrscopic HOS, many items referred to in French (I don't speak Speak)no voiceover, music was shut down, no map, no idea where your going, slow hint refil (and have to use it alot)
Not even to complete a card would I recommend this game. It took me over a 1/2 just for first chapter-mostly waiting on the hint harp

I really like the story, the music doesn't cutoff if you tend to wander or take more than a few second to finish something
The SG (statigic Guide opens- shows chapters but locked in demo for past the demo state-make scense?#
This CE has all the bells & whistles you could ask for!
Limited voice overs-just enough to carry you through next step
interesting/unique puzzles so far

Full/screen or wide screen separately**no black bars!**

3 modes: Casual Normal Hard with desciptions-casual hint refills about 30-45 seconds

Graphics are sharp and crisp
IHOG #interactive Hidden Objects Scenes# very colorful with not too dark not itty bitty objects-you know you'll need to return to these as some items move that are not on list-I would say probably 1-2 pairs of sneakers
There is a click Penalty #I hate that!)
Besides click penalty-the only other down side is map is not interactive-you can't jump to location---HOWEVER-does show you where you are and if you need an objective there.
Definately seems worth the money.
I recommend this game!
Face your fears and unravel the mystery of the abandoned asylum!

Dark & Gloomy, BUT once you adjust your screen (or eyes) the IHOGS were...interesting. Each IHOG had 2 or 3 interacting item, some were tough Some were actually fun! I love the way we get comfortable with our own idioms & colloquialisms & then people get upset that the item description doesn't match. I find that this is one of the entertaining values--Babblefish seems to have been used here & I for one want to raise my hand to these awesome developers I would lover to help this Spelling & whatnot into American Verbage--please hire me! :D

I played the demo:

Decent Graphics

I really liked the first House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets-and was not dissappointed too too much with this sequel.

Modern day Princess abducted, you are a reporter looking for a scoop.
HOS are pretty good, many teeny tiny object & had to burn hint, but as soon as you collect six stars every hint is replaced with another star somewhere in that scene or the next
really slow recharge/skip hints
some games had no info, if you wait a full minute you can see what the scene wants, about 2 minutes for skip-but easy enough
The graphics are okay, no voice overs, mellow music in a loop, characters pop in as the talk in a cut out
The game was ok-in a 6-10 year old range, (10 for content -6 for gameplay)
A good game to keep you lil one busy on Spring break.
