Storyline:
An old sailor tells someone while at sea that they have aboard the 8th wonder of the world - The Golden Sarcophagus that belongs to the Time Lord (not Dr. Who gang - sorry). A storm, ship runs aground before leaving the island waters - OH NO! The sarcophagus has disappeared. 10 years later and YOU are destined to find the 4 Eagles, place them on the Sarcophagus and save time - and the world!
Graphics and Sound:
As usual for this developer, the graphics are amazing. Lip-syncing characters throughout the game, beautiful background music that touches on crescendos and sound effects such as creaking doors, etc.
Game Play:
New buildings, Lenin resurrected! Go to the island, another storm, phantom hands on your windshield, get shipwrecked as well. Meet your grandparents and find the 4 Eagles.
HOGs and Mini Games:
HOGs are pretty standard. You can play a match 3 game instead as an alternative. Mini Games that I played were relatively easy.
CE Bling:
Wallpapers - 5/Screensavers - 5/Movies and pictures - 4/Concept Art - 20/ HOGs - 10/Mini-Games - 21/Strategy Guide/Bonus Game (didn't see it but it's described on the game description page
Collect 20 clocks throughout the game - keep an eye out because they are morphing objects. Each clock opens a lock and when all are unlocked it opens the Gate of Time (could be the bonus game).
Take 5 pictures relative to each of 5 individuals to get better resolution.
Find missing pages of your grandfather's journal as well as pieces of a treasure map (not sure if these are CE material).
There are 4 difficulties - casual, advanced, hard and custom. The hint and skip button can be manipulated in "custom" mode. You are equipped with a cell phone that contains Tasks, Notes (and clues, very important to read this constantly), a GPS map that you have to get working before you can use it, and videos/pictures of cutscenes.
I was pretty tired when I played the game but it seemed pretty straightforward. The storyline flowed well, there as consistency in the game play. CE bling seems to be a lot "on paper" but not sure if it's really all that much in reality. Will probably wait for the SE before I decide to purchase. Want to check out other reviews in a day or so because one reviewer hinted that it may be a short game. If so, definitely NOT worth the CE price.
All this being said, I DO encourage everyone to enjoy the amazing 90 minutes of game time (I finished in about 60 minutes) and it's free to try.
Happy Gaming!
I recommend this game!

Travel the United States finding items to sell or auction at your store. "Hot Items" are particularly valuable. HOGs are a little difficult to see the items but the hint button recharges fairly quickly. Also, collect those keys! There's one in just every area. You need 40 to open something special.
While not for me, I encourage everyone who loves haggling, dealing and stealing (figuratively speaking) or antiquing to try this hour-long free demo.
Happy Gaming!

Okay, I didn't cry "uncle" in the previous version of the game but this one had me crying "uncle" after 30 minutes - lol.
Again, while the tutorial is extremely helpful in this version of Fix-It-Up, there is just sooooo much going on at one time. Buy broken down cars from the street in front of your shop. Make sure you have enough spare parts to repair them - paint them - construct a "mod" shop and turn them into convertibles. But, do you rent them or sell them? Don't forget to hire employees! And before the demo was half over - someone is offering you a taxi service to run ----- UNCLE!!!!!
This game is still for the car enthusiast, mechanic, car salesman or anyone who is brave enough to try the car business. Somehow I completed levels and even leveled up - but beats me how - lol. I birthed a son to work on my car. LOL.
Still and all - it's me not the game - so please do try the hour-long FREE demo. You just might have a new career up your sleeve...want to sell me a car?
Happy Gaming!

Little did I know what I was getting myself into playing this game.
There's a reason God gave us sons - to work on our cars - LOL.
This is a game all about buying wrecks, fixing them up, cleaning them up, selling them and getting rent monies. Unfortunately, I know NOTHING about this and set myself up for failure trying to play. Oh, I completed the levels with great success - just don't know how I did it - lol.
This is definitely a game for car enthusiasts, mechanics or if you just want the thrill of figuring this game out. Good luck.

Now, this game has some interesting twists, although it does play, somewhat, like the famous Wheel of Fortune - with one exception being there are no prizes - lol.
Guess words. You can move horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Words must be at least 3 letters long. The letter that STARTS your word is what may or may not appear on the phrase board. For example, "Gun" - the "G" will appear but not the "u" or "n" even if they are on the phrase board. For the "u" or "n" to appear, a word has to START with those letters. That can be pretty tough. Especially when you only have a certain number of moves available. Every time you create a word, a token is taken away from you. And I found it impossible to earn tokens.
You can "buy" vowels, phrase hints, big words (that won't necessarily help you) with your tokens. There are no bonuses that I could tell.
For me, someone who is not a word game connoisseur, this was an almost impossible game for me. I generally don't play these types of games as a rule, although I will give them a try now and then. Unfortunately, this was just too difficult for this old brain.
I do, however, encourage lovers of words to try the hour-long, free demo. It just might turn out to be the game of the year for you.
Happy Gaming!

This is a nice twist of dominoes and mahjong all in one game. It takes a bit to get the hang of it but once you do, it actually becomes quite fun to play.
The board is stacked like a Mahjong board and you match like numbers or symbols. There isn't anything really to make this interesting except that there is a story that continues throughout the completion of each level. You can acquire "hints" and "swaps" but no board reshuffle, which could have come in handy at times. Instead, you replay the board until it's cleared or you match the words "Mah Jomino".
There are 4 game modes, but I don't know how to unlock the other 3 (classic, challenge and one other). The background music is soothing, the graphics/background just ok. As I said, there just didn't seem to be anything "exciting" enough for this to be a buy for me.
However, I do encourage everyone, especially Mahong and/or Domino enthusiasts to give this free, hour-long demo a try. You may find you like the uniqueness and/or storyline of this game.

The town is ravaged by the plague. Your mother has set off to find the hidden town called Apothecarium. It' said it can save the town.
An amazing SE that has all the benefits and extras of a CE. Wow - go figure!
There are 3 modes of play - from casual to hard. The HOGs have morphing with which to find the highlighted items. You can also switch to a match 3 game instead. Mini Games, items to collect and achievements. Who could ask for more? . The coins are used in the Store to purchase items to help you throughout the game. The hint button refills fairly quickly, the background music and VOs are okay - not great.
I don't recall playing it originally - so I only had 20 minutes to play it again. Might be a purchase for me as it's on a $2.99 sale. I encourage everyone to give the free demo a try.

This is your typical match 3 game. Match 4 or more to get bonuses. After clearing the board of blue tiles, match more to drop the "special item" off the bottom of the board. There are hindrances as well - iced items, etc. The music was incredibly relaxing and soothing. The background picture never changed which was unfortunate because I think the game could have offered more in that way.
The story is basically the one told on the game description page and does not continue. Earn coins by passing levels and use them to build various houses and other buildings.
While relaxing and addicting (to a point), something about this game just didn't "wow" me so it's not a purchase for me, but I strongly encourage everyone to give the hour-long free demo a try.

There's a lot going on in this unique game of solitaire. You investigate locations by playing classic solitaire. The more "perfect" games you get the higher ranking you will become (i.e., patrolman, sergeant, etc.). You find clues (somehow) and receive awards and messages that inform you if you have enough clues to "pin" a suspect. Then, you go back to the Station House, log onto your computer, use your clues (I only ever saw one) and get your man (so to speak). There's also a "wheel of misfortune" which you can spin to win or lose cash - but it's very small and repetitive.
I really thought this game would interest me what with the various locations, etc. Maybe if they would have thrown an HOG or something in there as well, but I found myself looking forward to the end of the free, hour-long demo. What I thought would be a buy for me ended up being a boring, repetitive game.
I do encourage everyone to give it a try though.

I would purchase this game for the dancing skeletons alone!
This is somewhat like your typical match 3 games in that you have to match 3 or more items (pirate booty) to clear the brown tiles off the board. However, you can match them horizontally, vertically and diagonally - which can be a GREAT help. You earn "mega-bombs" for matching 4 or more. Another difference is this is not a swap, etc. game. Rather, when the game starts, your cursor IS an item. Use it to make a match 3 or better BUT the item you put it on top of to make that match is NOW the item you need to find a match for. Sounds confusing but after a few matches you'll get it.
The one thing I didn't notice was the difference between Classic play and Timed play. Wave your cursor over "Timed" and it says something about getting pirate treasure. Wave it over "Relaxed" and it says exactly that, relaxed. But, during game play in both modes, the only difference I saw was one was timed (and you get "x" number of lives) and one was not.
There is an "x" (marks the spot) after each of 5 levels but it doesn't seem to have any significance at all - in either mode. And how do you get (magically) a different match item when the one you're holding doesn't have a match? THAT'S a mystery to me.
All in all this is a fun and addicting game, in either mode. But, I would have purchased it just for the dancing skeletons - doing the "happy" dance or line dancing with treasure raining down upon them between levels. Will definitely put a smile n my face any time I need one or not!
So, ahoy mateys, this Glam-ma says shiver your timbers and play the free, very quick, hour-long demo or you might be walking the plank!
Happy Gaming! ARGH!
I recommend this game!
