Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
I know other reviewers have waxed lyrical about this game, so perhaps I am missing the point somewhat. I am not into storylines and if I was Sci-Fi wouldn't be one of them. There was nothing wrong with the game per se, but I was SO bored after about 20 minutes, I gave up. Nothing piqued my interest. Everything was the same as all the other HO games but somehow I couldn't gel with it. Its probably just me. Sadly, not one for my collection.
Your friend, Mary, disappears and it's up to you to save her. Uncover an exotic land with unearthly secrets as you find and help your friend leave the flying island.
I really love this type of game so am totally biased. I don't comment on graphics as they are not important to me. The main things I find important are the content of the game and ease of playing in terms of layout and not going so slow it takes half an hour to move the cursor a millimetre! This game did not disappoint. There should be more games like this out there. You can play on three levels and there is a tutorial if you want one. Lots of mini games which have been seen before but not bad and not really difficult. What I loved was the fragmented hidden objects and you have to completely find all the parts to one thing to find the others in the scenes. Great. Played for about 20 minutes and definitely going to buy it.
The talented journalist, Eva Sanders, witnesses strange events while working on a story and soon finds herself implicated in the most incredible plot of the millennium!
This game is Ok if you are a beginner to HOS games.Unlike the first reviewer I did not have any problem mixing the cocktail it was very easy to do. The storyline was a little different and the one thing I liked was that the HOS were relevant. To fix the microphone for example you had to find tools, for a make up bag you had to find make up and accessories. I wouldn't give it such a bad review as the first 2 reviews. Hints are many and clues easy to follow.
Not for the hard core gamer I would say, but not too bad. Would recommend to teenage girls (for the storyline) and beginners for the game play itself.
I recommend this game!

Pride & Prejudice: Hidden Anthologies
Explore the rich world of Jane Austen’s most beloved novel, Pride & Prejudice! Enjoy this Hidden Object Adventure and get a new perspective to the classic story.
I read the firs reviewer's comments and didn't quite get where she was coming from, until I downloaded the trial. What a very strange game. Basically you play the game as though you are going through the book. There is nothing to tell you what to do. I figured out that you have to click on a lot of things randomly to get something and the characters pop up to say what they need. The cursor does not change when you hover over a vital object. You just have to click on everything until you find something. The piano music was intrusive - and I love classical music - and got on my nerves a lot. In the HOS there is a strange situation where if you click on a wrong object (I think) a number appears on the sheet music at the bottom right of the screen. Then a weird thing happened - the hints increased sometimes too and I still don't know why! I did get the hang of it after a while but the characters kept popping up too much for my liking. Also when you collect items you have to combine some of them within the inventory boxes on the bottom of the screen. For instance, in the kitchen you get given a bent key. When you finally work out how to go from room to room and eventually click on the fireplace in the sitting room it tells you that the fire will soften the key but you can't use your bare hands. You then discover that you have to click on the poker , which is also used to poke around in the chair in that room - which you can't do until Mrs Bennet has left the room and she will only do that once you have found her feather duster. The poker then goes back into your inventory and you have to put it together with the bent key and put the poker and key in the fire. You can then go back to the kitchen to open the cupboard. I played the demo to the end and my feeling was that this was a very quirky game. I must say it had me very intrigued to know how the rest of the game pans out. I am still wavering over whether I will buy it or not as it is very different from any other HOG I have played. I don't want to recommend or otherwise as I think you have to play the demo to see what you think. And I still don't know what the numbers are for on the sheet music!! FYI - the hints are the numbers on the red oval at bottom right of screen and Mr Bennett pops up to show you where the item is you need. It doesn't actually tell you it is the hint button.
After Shaban's sheep are stolen by thieves, he sets off on an epic adventure to get back what belongs to him. Help Shaban on his journey in this intriguing hidden object adventure game!
This is my first adventure game, so I have no other experiences to go back on. I too had problems at first, but managed to figure out that balloon pictures are either what you want to achieve or something you have to do to get the thing you want. I had problems getting out of the first room but eventually found that by clicking on the little ladder in the bottom right of the room, takes you outside. It is a bit hit and miss with the arrows as sometimes you get a direction arrow and sometimes you have to click on the left or right, top and bottom to scroll around the scene. The objects are not easy to find, but when all of them are found they put themselves together in the inventory, except when the balloon says and item + ?, eg magnet + ?, then you have to figure out what goes with the magnet. I am having problems with the transporter map and what to do with it, but it is quite a challenge. I think I will play the rest of the demo to see where it gets me. The scene where he finds his first sheep in the owl clock is so lovely, and he looks such a sad sheep, the graphics are fab. i would not recommend this game to anyone who wants fast paced gaming, or to anyone who is not very patient. If, however, you love a good challenge and are prepared to sit and figure it all out I hearitly recommend it. You will certainly get your money for times worth!!
Wasn't sure if I'd like this game, but was very pleasantly surprised. The graphics were what I like and the puzzles, although not too difficult were hard enough to keep my interest and I didn't skip one puzzle or go to the SG for solution - which is probaby a first for me. I loved Rupert and the rooster and helper miner, a lovely original touch! HOS were original each time, except in Bonus game where one is repeated from main game. Really excellent game, However I could not give a 5 star rating as in places it was really slow and I had to wait a while for the game to catch up. My big disappointment however, was the bonus game. I really thought it would tie the story up, but it just turned out to be a really short game - 25 minutes for me and ended abruptly with no seeming link to the continuation of the main story and no resolution . Would heartily recommend this game but better to wait for the SG as the CE is not worth the money IMHO.
This is one of the good HOG's with IHOS which I like enormously. The HOS are fairly challenging, some objects are well hidden. You also get to collect masks for each scene, although having only played the demo, I don't know where this is going as it doesn't give you a tally. The story looks to be good, the scenes are crisp and well drawn. The only niggle I had was at the very beginning when the little girl who was abducted appeared in the diner. Her voice was SO whiny, I couldn't help thinking her abduction was a good thing and why was anyone bothering to find her?!! She hadn't made a return by the time I'd finished the demo, so I'm hopeful she won't have any more speaking parts until the end of the game. The music was a bit irritating especially when you are picking up items in the HOS, but I managed to tune it out more or less. There is a lot of going back and forth, but not too bad as the scenes are close enough together. I really liked the fact that you have to scour each scene carefully, to avoid missing areas of interest. I have to say I really liked this game and will probably buy the CE edition and not wait for the single game.
In a fading world devoid of color, the ghost of Nikola Tesla reaches through the Ether and invites you on an incredible adventure through time and space.
Downloaded the trial and played 31 minutes. The game is not bad at all, although there was a lot of dialogue between Tesla's ghost and his granddaughter which for me interefered with the game. I would have played all of the trial and probably bought the game but for the fact that it was SO slow on my computer. Going from scene to scene took ages and I was often left with a black screen for a while. It also took a long time to load on entering the game. Such a shame as it looked to be one of the better HOG 's and had IHOS which I love. It may be incompatible with my PC so others may not have the same problems with speed and loading. So I would recommend the game if I could play the darn thing a bit quicker!!
I really enjoyed the other Snark Buster games. This one doesn't have as much meat on it, frankly. However it is a nice little game although I have only played the demo. Got confused when the book came up and I couldn't exit. Couldn't figure out whether it was the end of the demo or a glitch. It turns out it was the end of the demo which I finished with 19 mintues to spare. The mini games were not taxing , but the HO scenes were interesting and there was a lot to find with having to go to other scenes to complete some of the HO's. I will probably buy this as I have one stamp to go for a game credit. Reading other reviews, I understand there is no skip for the mini games, but asI didn't need the skip button I didn't notice. One annoying part is the repetition of the characters voice overs which was mightily annoying. All in all an OK game, ideal for when you don't want anything too heavy to play. Great for first time IHOGers
I looked at other reviews before trying this game. As it was a blue tea game I was expecting great things. However, I found it boring, and the same old, same old. There was too much going back and forth, HOS were bog standard. Not very challenging either. Storyline was poor IMO. I wont be buying this game.
