Some of the solutions in this game are real logic leaps. Kind of random and not as thought out as the other A of M games. And I couldn't believe they even had a shuffle board puzzle - like the kind you get in hidden object games! For shame! Just okay.

Just finished the trial version and will not be buying the full one. I found the interface repetitive and annoying. Click on an object to investigate and a long phrase plays out that you can not skip. So when you click on another part of that same object checking for clues and more info it plays the same phrase every time all the way through over and over - annoying. There are a lot of doors in the beginning, most of which are locked. But the "click" of the lock is accompanied by "It's locked. The door's locked. Door's locked. It's locked. Surprise, it's locked." Over and over and over and over again. When you do actually get a "puzzle" to solve it's a lame crossword that a child could do. But it was the interface and voice over that really turned me off.
I don't recommend this game.

Just finished playing this game. Wonderful! Lasted for days with many twists and turns and a great storyline. I would have liked less clues form the notepad and a few solutions were a bit of a stretch but other than that -- so much fun!
I recommend this game!

Just finished playing it and it was so great! I miss it already. That's why I'm about to download the next Carol Reed game. They are so cool - very mellow, real, and it's like you're traveling to Sweden and solving a mystery. Beautiful graphics, great story line and characters and clever clues.
I recommend this game!

If you like simple, reality based problem solving and interesting real life mystery to solve - then you will enjoy this. There are no hidden objects or slide puzzles to solve which I like. The interface is a little wobbly so you have to really search 360 degrees at each step as to not miss objects or clues - but I like games where you have to roam and explore and this one is great. I had to go to the creators website and download the sound patch - but after that it worked like a charm. Give it a try!
I recommend this game!

If you're not afraid to roam around, make mistakes and really explore a world where the clues and tasks are completely relevant to the game and not just find hidden objects and solve abstract puzzles then this will make you very happy. The story, history, dialogue is amazing. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!
