Who on earth creates a match 3, nowadays, that won't let you make matches while the tiles are still falling??
This could have been quite cute, but the action is just not good enough. You have timed, limited # of moves, or relaxed; which is the only good thing I can say about this one.

This is very similar to the Clutter games, and I also have another very good variation of this in Spirit of the Ancient Forest. I like these types of games, but you only need so many of them, and this one is very slow and glitchy. It takes you back to the map after every scene, then takes at least 15 seconds to load the next level....couldn't stand that, so I was unable to even get to the other puzzles. I gave up after only 4 piles of clutter. I recommend trying it for yourself, but it's a snoozer for me!

I really liked this game, it's very cute and a lot of fun. The only problem, for me, was that it makes me feel very dizzy. I guess I can't play this kind of game any more..too much side ways motion. But for those of you who can, I really recommend this one. It kind of reminds me of the old Phaser Star game. Lots of fun!
I am so disappointed, as the previous Mortimers are among my very favourite games. Alas, this one is simply not up to snuff. The character is not drawn the same as the one we knew; the game play is very frustrating and disjointed; and there are timed components which are impossible. The previous games did not try to build an elaborate story, rather, they were just fun find and click games. Also, the only reason I could find to make this a CE game were the timed levels, in which you could earn diamonds to buy items for your collection....not worth the added cost. Sorry, and I really am....I can't recommend this game.
I don't understand all the negative reviews. This game is new and fresh. It has some really different HO styles and the story is intriguing. I particularly liked finding the object silhouettes in different segments; when you replace some another segment might open up for you to search; you slide back and forth with a slide button at the bottom of the screen. I have never seen this before....I love it when something actually new comes up! The story is really outside the box, which is refreshing. Give this a try; don't take the bad reviews at face value.

Well, it could have been good but....can't see a darn thing! The art work is lovely but the cards are very small and the font on them makes it really difficult to decipher. I kept clicking on two cards that I was sure were 4s, only to finally realize that one of them was an ace.
Also, not wild about matching pair type solitaire. Sorry, but I can't give this a thumbs up...there are many, many better solitaire games out there.
I would have liked this game, even though the story line is one we have seen a million times...rescue your daughter while fighting an evil entity that the bad guy has released. The main drawback for me is the snail pace of the thing. The dialogue is so slow, plus each time you click on something, just to look at it, some inane description comes up on the top of the screen and takes forever to go away. Also, occasionally, you are required to fight the evil ghost thing, for some reason, with a gadget that projects two circles. It's really annoying, and slow, and serves no purpose, that I can see, as the things still keep coming back in ensuing scenes. There is also way too much back and forthing...you can't chase the bad guy's car because first, you have to unlock the dog's lunchbox, then charge your GPS thingy, and take a virtual tour of poorly drawn skeletons...aarghh! No wonder this game is long...it is full of silly fillers. The HO scenes were fairly fun, but they are infrequent, so not enough to save the tedium of this game. and I didn't find the mini games to be very creative or original. Sorry, but I can't see myself buying this one...just not enough play value.

I loved this solitaire game...it's so cute. It is your standard one up and down card game, and is quite easy (seems to have the usual every-third-card-is-playable pattern), but the story is really cute and fun. You occasionally get to play a match 3 for extra cash (optional), and you can buy things to make it easier. You are building a town and with new developments come additional problems. The dialogue is worth reading because it is fairly amusing. Sometimes someone new comes to town and you need to help them retrieve a lost item, which you do during the solitaire part. I particularly liked the girl with her "little girl purse". For a solitaire game, this one is a lot of fun!

Ugghh! Who makes a match-3 game now-a-days, that will not let you make moves until all the tiles have stopped falling?? This game is horribly slow and clunky. It has a timed and a relaxed option, but I would hate to try and play on timed, considering the sluggishness of the movements. It is a building M3, which are usually my favourites, but it's not enough to save this one. Sorry, but save your money.

What a horrible, racist story!! I could not get past the first ten minutes. The premise that white stands for good and black evil is appalling even before you have to test your blood to see if you are born into the correct faction! In my opinion this trash should have been aced before it hit the drawing board!
