There is very little contrast between tiles and the background for many of the puzzles. The background is grayish. For one puzzle the tiles were three shades of gray. It's one thing to make mistakes because you don't know how to play again. It's another to make mistakes because the tiles are almost the same color. Not enough fun to be worth the eye strain. By the way, I am not at all color blind.
I don't recommend this game.
Get ready to travel through Japan in the springtime. Play through four chapters of love and romance while solving colorful mosaic puzzles!

I did the one hour preview. While everything else about the game is great, the background and tiles often have very little contrast so it is hard to tell the difference between a tile and the background. I made many mistakes because of the similarity of colors. While I love this kind of game, the lack of contrast made this game extremely frustrating and I did not buy it. Sometimes two or three tiles would be extremely similar to the background. Try the Rainbow Mosaic games -- lovely colors with good contrast.
I don't recommend this game.
The City of the Ancients must be rebuilt, but the mystery of the Mosaics runs ever deeper.

While I enjoy playing the game, there is practically no contrast between colors on some puzzles. The eye strain gives me migraines. For instance, it might be two colors of blue so similar that you make mistakes because you cannot tell the difference. The same goes for white tiles on the pale background. Even the numbers that tell you how many tiles in a row/column blend into the background. I forget about the headaches and play the game sometimes by pulling it out of my archive. This contrast issue happens with several other nonagram games. Other games have much better contrast, such as the Rainbow Mosaics games. If the contrast was better on this game, I would give it 5 stars.
I don't recommend this game.
The forest fairies are once again in need of help! Use the magic of numbers and logic to free the captive forest creatures.

The design of how the game is played is great. The game is awful because there is often very little contrast between colors of tiles and often little contrast between the color of the background and the color of the tile. The game can be hard because of the puzzle challenge. It should NOT be hard because pale pink, beige, and the bland background are hard to distinguish. If you enjoy migraines, this is your game. Thank you, BFG, for letting us try out games for an hour because I can save my money for well-designed games. Rainbow Mosaics and Gemsweeper are both awesome.

I downloaded the trial version. It was totally not fun and it crashed to the extent that I had to turn off my computer to unfreeze it.
I don't recommend this game.
