I knew I would like this, as I still play Storm Tale 1 as my "go-to" match-3 game when the mood hits. But the developer has really gone above and beyond with this sequel ! Played it for half an hour or so, and it was an immediate purchase for me. This developer knows how to put together match-3 games. We have improved graphics, interesting add-ons, mini-puzzles if you want to play them, good power-ups when you need them. A huge 'plus' for me is that each scene loads so seamlessly, it is not hardware intensive. An excellent challenge.
I have been playing this for years, and still fire it up every couple of days. There aren't many around that are similar - an exception being Finders Keepers (even better!). Back in the day, as I recall, there were 3 different Gold Miner games, but the other 2 no longer functioned as computers and OS changed, but this one still works just fine, and the levels of challenge are spot on. The most difficult level can take a while. MORE PLEASE.
The series is an excellent series, offering crisp graphics, pleasant music, and good sound effects. Gameplay just challenging enough. My only wish is that the developers would reinstate the "high scores" option on the main menu. They disappeared after the first 2 episodes of this series, and I don't understand why. With the "high scores" as an option, I find myself more challenged to try to beat previous scores, use the 'hint' feature less frequently, and make certain I clean up all the trash and find all the wildlife. But still, an excellent game with very good mini games.
Very similar to OBE 2, which was excellent, this is every bit as good in all respects. First, a game must be honest, and this series is that. As with OBE 2,there are 3 cats and a paw print in each scene, also the small pop-up windows when appropriate, which go away when done. Player can close the pop-up if desired. No timer, no penalty for mis-clicks, and some of the best of mini-games on the market, this is a keeper in all respects. Same music as OBE 2, which is relaxing and pleasant.
I loved the first Our Beautiful Earth, but it was a bit short, and a little easy. Other very minor flaws have been vastly improved in this one. The developers apparently listened to us! This is great, among the best, and one of the few games that I eagerly anticipate the mini-games, many are unique. We still have 3 cats to find, plus now a paw print in each level. The 3 cats are always real cats, (not silhouettes), just like the first game. Occasionally the cats and/or paw prints are in small pop-up windows, and it's advisable to keep your eyes on when those windows appear, it can aid in knowing what to look for. I knew I was going to buy this, but tried the demo to make sure. Yep, no doubt about it. It's definitely a keeper. Superb graphics, superb music and sound effects, and the items are just a bit more challenging to find. Well done! This developer gets solid thumbs up from me.
I am enjoying this game more than most I've recently purchased. Firstly, it's honest. That's most important. Secondly, it's not hardware intensive. The music and sound effects are superb! The game play is relatively easy, the mini-games are mostly enjoyable. Some are completely different than any other I've run across, but all are excellent. Finding the 3 cats in each scene is fairly obvious, although a few have proven slightly tricky. All hidden objects are obvious (hence the word 'honest' above), but it's mostly relaxing. (I play untimed, will try other options in the future). All thumbs up from me. No dumb movies to sit through, no dialog, and the graphics and scenery are true to the title's name. I love it!
I recommend this game!

This is an excellent game. No movies or cartoons to watch or ignore, just a hidden object game, with very good mini-games in between each scene. Graphics are crisp, objects are in the scene, there's no mousing around to try to find a hidden area (how much fun is that?), although there is one signal in each scene that pops up an area with 2-3 of the items listed. 3 hearts and 3 GPS signals in each scene as an added bonus, but not required. It is a hidden object game, pure and simple. And each mini-game offers enough of a challenge to keep the brain going. Music is good. Info about the locations in the Med. are interesting. All in all, the best true HOG to be offered in some time. I recommend it highly.
The best yet of this type. Love the game, very challenging, good graphics, far better than previous versions. A change in music would have been nice, but that's not a stopper. I recommend this game for anyone who likes this type of mosaic game.
I'm not young, and there are times when I want to really relax and enjoy a good game. This fits the bill perfectly. Visuals are quite good, music and sound effects likewise. The hidden objects are generally pretty easy to find. There is enough challenge to make it interesting, and most important of all, it is not hardware intensive, and it is honest! A very pleasant, relaxing, hidden object game, with scattered mini-games which are also not too difficult. A perfect way to spend some time relaxing and enjoying.
Agree with most of the reviewers, this is a joy to play and I would love to see a sequel. Granted, only one player, and once all levels are completed, we are left only to re-play the levels. A relatively minor obstacle, and doesn't interfere with the level of enjoyment. What say - will there be a sequel?
