After reading the submitted reviews, I was reluctant to buy the game, but I am glad that I did. There were times when I thought that I would not be able to finish the game, but through perseverance and dogged determination not to let the game beat me, I was able to finish it. Moving from one painting to another was interesting and fun. For those who wrote the early comments, they really could have put some players off from playing this game. That's too bad if they did. I really liked the game and I urge other players to not allow the comments to put them off.

This game is absolutely FABULOUS! It reminds me of the strategy games of many many years ago. The story line is great. Determining who is the real criminal is keeps you on your toes. The graphics are unbelievably fantastic. This game kept me up late at night to get to a successful end. The game forces the player to remember so many details to use to take the next steps. I look forward to the next game of this type. I highly recommend this game for the serious player who wants a challenge.

This game was quite delightful. At times, it was somewhat difficult to determine what should be done next. The "glass" was the most unique challenge. I did have to use the "walkthrough" to figure out how it should be used, but once I did that, I was able to get to the end with no problem.
This game was fun and I do recommend it to those who want to have fun.

Fantastic! I just loved this game. The ending is wonderful because of the "surprise factor" as to the real killer and the reason for the murders. The settings are great! I loved the mini games. I look forward to the next story of "Castle".
Not having a "walkthrough guide" made the game more challenging and thus, more interesting and fun.

I really liked this game after I settled in to it. The story is very good. At times, the game did not seem logical regarding "what to do next", but at last, I was able to follow the game and I FINISHED it. What I thought at the beginning of the game was not what happened at the end. I love intriguing endings. It seems that there will be another game which will continue this story line. I really hope so.

This game is EXCELLENT! I agree with one of the postings that this game is as good or better than the Collectors' Editions that are here on BFG.
Not having a "walkthrough" made it more challenging and I liked having to challenge myself with this game.

This game was quite interesting. Not having a walkthrough, forced me to be ingenious in figuring out the next steps. At the end, I was a crazy as "Vernon", but in the end, I had the great satisfaction of finishing the game. I enjoyed the puzzles. I would recommend this game.

At first, I thought that I would give up on the game, BUT I persisted. The game is really great. The graphics are excellent. The story is wonderful. Not having a "strategy guide", I used the "Forum" to assist me when I hit a blank wall. Little by little, I became more immersed in the game and found what I needed to move to another part.
The game is really challenging. The puzzles are wonderful. For anyone who wants to spend lots of time working to get to the end of the game, I highly recommend it. I successfully completed the game! Hooray!!!!
