This looked to be a cute M3 game, and for the most part, it is. It's your typical M3 game - match fruits and powerups, break chains, turn all the blocks white, etc. Something different here is the bug-fighting challenge. Not too difficult - you make a lot of matches and fireballs shoot at the bugs to kill them. However, if the bug reaches your garden, it turns all you block back to green. And, there are powerups you can earn to combat them easier.
You have to earn most of the powerups by matching specific fruits. Some you buy with fruit, some you just get automatically. Having only played an hour, I don't have a lot of detail here, but it's not too difficult to understand.
My only complaint is that it runs very sluggish. Don't know if it's my computer or just the way the game runs. It was hard grabbing on to the items to switch them sometimes. You also have to wait for all the chain-reactions to stop before you can start switching fruits again - grrr! I like a little faster play with M3 games.
I'm going to recommend this for anyone who wants a cute, not too challenging M3 game, but try it before buying and make sure it runs well for you.
I recommend this game!

I'm not much of a fan of HOG, but I am a fan of American Pickers, so I had to give this one a try. It seems such a natural fit for HOG - looking for buried treasure among a bunch of old junk!
The game follows the story line of the show - sometimes you go on random picks, sometimes Danielle calls with a lead. You try to make deals on certain items, and sometimes, you go back to make trades with items your past customers request.
It's not an extremely challenging game as far as HOG go; there is no time limit and no apparent clicking penalty. The hint meter refills quickly - a great help for unusual items you've never heard of! There is a story to follow, somewhat, but you can skip the dialog if you wish.
I was a little annoyed by the repetitive music and some of the spoken dialog, which you can't skip, is a little PG-13, and also repetitive. I'm not sure if you can turn that off -- I only played for the hour demo and didn't mess with the options too much.
The help section could have been a little better, too. I was stuck for a while because I forgot to explore the other areas of a certain location - guess I'm an amateur at picking ;) I also didn't realize you had to buy everything you find or you can't move on. This frustrates me the most about HOG. (Hint to players: Find everything in every location you explore before making deals. There is a "bundle deal" option that will save you money, but the items might be found in different areas. Move your cursor around to find direction areas for new areas to explore.)
I'm going to put this game as a "no" mostly because I think true HOG fans will find this a little boring, but also because of the language - I don't want my kids learning choice new words from mommy's game. It's not bad if you want something more relaxed that's NOT a horror theme. (Thanks for that, btw!)
So, I like shopping just as much as the next person, but this game is vicious. I felt like I was at a Black Friday frenzy sale.
The game is similar to the Shop-N-Spree franchise in that you have certain items you have to find. It is TM because you have a limited time to shop, and your list of items will disappear if you don't find them soon enough.
What differs is that there are other shoppers in the store who are competing for the same items. They also have power-ups, so they can freeze your credit, earn extra time, steal items from you, and generally make your life miserable. This would seem like a fun challenge, except you have to buy your power-ups, (your competitors seem to have the whole gamut all the time) and you can only choose one to use each level - hardly fair :( The on-screen lettering is hard to read, too, and there doesn't seem to be much of a tutorial on how to use power-ups or even play the game in general.
I had 22 minutes left in the demo when I decide I just couldn't take it anymore and quit the game. It could have been a good idea, if it were done better and the other customers weren't so evil. Disappointing!

I have long awaited the sequel to Royal Envoy; so glad it is here! The first game was fun, and the sequel is much better in several ways. If you found the first game too frustrating, you might want to give this one a try. IMHO, it's a bit easier than the first, but there is still plenty of strategy involved to keep you entertained.
The biggest and best change is no more waiting for workers or tax collectors to bring supplies back to the castle. All you have to do is click on them to collect them. In fact, you don't use tax collectors at all. Workers do it all, so you only have to manage one type of worker.
There are also a couple of new challenges (spoiler alert!) - a challenging wood maze in level 4 and a couple of snowball fights - fun! And you have to make the leprechauns happy...
Otherwise, it is very similar to the first game - build, collect supplies, dig up treasures, pay off pirates, and finish before your time runs out. Do it all at the 3 star level and you unlock the Expert level. This new version also gives you more awards to win, so you can go back and play over and over to meet those goals.

This is similar to Roads to Rome, etc., but with a Paris theme. You are building the Eiffel Tower, one small piece at a time. You have to repair roads and clear debris at the same time. It does take some strategy, though - deciding what roads to clear first and what factories to build - some you need on certain levels, some you don't. You sometimes can find supplies lying in the road, or you can buy them if you don't want to build a factory to manufacture them. Decisions, decisions! However, I was able to finish all gold in the 1 hour demo, so I would not say this game is too difficult, at least not in the start. Like other reviewers, I found the music and the slowness of the carts somewhat tedious. If I decide to buy this, I will probably turn the music down. It's definitely going on my "maybe" list - I always wait for a sale ;) I would like to see more in this series with different structures being built, or maybe a compilation game with different world monuments.

This game is for lovers of Diner Dash type games. You seat customers (color bonuses) cook food, server orders, and clean up. I would put this at medium difficulty as I was already having to replay levels before the hour demo was up. (Ok, I'm a little rusty at this type of game.) However, I did achieve Master on several levels. There's a lot to do early on in the game - definitely not a relaxed pace. My biggest negatives are the repetitive music, somewhat sluggish play (picky cursor?) and long time to download. I do like that you get to pick your upgrades, many that cheer up customers, and the theme is cute. I recommend this for anyone looking for a new theme to diner games, but not to anyone bored with this type of game - not much new here compared to similar games.

Now I remember why I don't play many HOG; they are either mind-numbing or impossible to figure out. This one is of the mind-numbing type. Pretty much the same thing as any other game - find the objects, slowly-filling hint meter, inane mini-games between levels that take too long too skip - you can figure out most of them before the skip meter fills. I thought the Christmas theme would be fun, but it wasn't nearly as fun as Christmasville. The music was annoying after a while; there's only so many times you can listen to a techno-pop version of Silent Night.
The level is very easy, so this might be good for a beginner or a child. I did like collecting the Nativity figures - hope that means their might be a nice Nativity scene put together at the end. Could not figure out what the Santa dolls and candy canes were for, though, other than a few extra points. This won't be on my Christmas list...

I loved the first game, and this one is just as good. Not a lot new to it - you have to collect fuel now in addition to wood, food, and gold - but runs about the same as the last one. If you liked the last one, you'll like this one too.
