I absolutely adore this game! It is set in turn of the century end of 1800's with cool inventions like zeppelins manned with robots, and you have to solve a very strange murder. I love the style of this game. The storyline is very intriguing and I have to find out what happens next!
Never seen so much action in one game. You have to collect evidence and do some research on it in a special device you will find in your office. There are also finger-, hand- and footprints to find with an UV-lamp and you can buy upgrades with it like fastening the speed of your hint-button filling up. There is an evidence-board where you can combine your clues.
It looks like you can't choose a difficulty mode, but you can! Once you have started playing the game, you can go in the menu and you'll find a button called game-mode, where you can determine the difficulty, 3 different modes.
Although this game has some lagging between loading the scenes, I had no other problems running this game on my Windows 8.1 laptop.
I really like this game, the storyline is something different, there are some very nice and new gimmicks and if you play it in detective mode it's really challenging, as there are no sparkles or black-bar hints, and I totally love that! The hints are good and point you in the right direction if needed.
The HOS have morph's in them and the mini-games seem to be good. With all the collectibles and achievements this game feels more like a CE then a SE!
It's been a long time a game came out that I found worthy reviewing but this one I'm going to have fun with the next few hours (or maybe even days, as it gives the impression of being fairly long) and hope you will like it too! Enjoy!

Oh wow, what a great game this is! It's so incredibly beautiful, you just have to keep on playing.
I found myself gazing all the time at the wonderful scenery, or even stop playing because I just wanted to listen to the lovely music.

There is loads to do in every scene, and there are a ton of locations, they just keep on coming. Good thing there is a jump map, because there is a lot of to and fro, and the layout is not always very simple, but I have to say that I honestly loved that. Makes the game more interesting.
The storyline is told in a very cool way, loved the dossier, making clear who where the good guys and who where the bad.
The HOS and puzzles are very well done, LOVED being able to switch to jigsaw-puzzle.

Unbelievable! This is what a HOPA should be like! Very good, NEW story and great HOP's and puzzles! Finally a game that makes you think and use your gray matter. The story is AMAZING from beginning to end and keeps you glued to your chair! Enchanting music!

This is a wonderful game! A great pity this game is released as a soft release, it's worth much more than that!
The story is told in a very good way and is really captivating. You are a young enchantress and have to save the world(s) from an evil sourcerer. He steals some powerful books and you have to retrieve them. While doing that, you encounter all kind of creatures, like an orc, a goblin... they are very lifelike and believable.
The graphics are beautiful, and the various scenes are gorgeous. It's a bit dark, but I like that, not fond of the childish over-bright games. The game plays very smooth and controls run perfectly.

There are all kind of goodies, like collectables and achievements! All this in a SE!!! There are 3 difficulty levels and also custom! You get a great diary and a jump map with indication of activities.
I really like this game and will be buying it today, it's definately worth it's money! What I love about it is that there is some challenge in it, not like the over-easy 'big' games that have been released lately, they bored me to death.
Try it and have fun, I'm sure you'll like it! Thanks to the dev's for bringing us this great game! BFG should have given it the attention it deserves...

I won't tell anything about the game itself, it's way too good, and I think you should discover it for yourself.
This is the most stunning, breathtaking, gobsmacking, or any other superlative you can think off, game ever. I was lost for words after I played the demo and couldn't wait until the game came out. Now it has and I am the happiest fishie ever!!! After today it will be very hard to rate any other game 5 stars. I'm downloading now and will enjoy this game this evening, can't wait!
Just try this game yourself and be baffled like I was. Enjoy!!

Just finished playing this game for the second time. I played the difficult setting because I don't like all the glittering.
It seems old fashioned, but look again, this is a wonderful game! The humour in it is incredible, the game is made by the voice-overs. There is a lot of talking, which is quite static, but it is told in such a good way you don't mind listening, it makes it fun! Graphics are crystal-clear and beautiful.
Not a lot of adventure in this game, but a puzzle-galore!! And they are fun! Vary from simple to very challenging!
A lot of HOP's too, quite challenging, most of them visited twice.
There is a jump-map with active tasks, and a very helpful hint-button.

I can't really put my finger on it why I liked it so much, on first sight I seems so oldfashioned, but I had loads of fun with it, and it's the very first game I played more than once, I guess that says it all.

What a great game! Absolutely LOVED it!! Others already gave great reviews about what happens in the game, so I won't repeat that. But nice to see an whodunnit game with very real characters (not a ghost in sight!# combined with an oldskool asylum game. I was so positively surprised with that!
I just finished playing and all in all I had about 5 to 6 hours of great fun with it!
This is a wonderful whodunnit story with some very scary and surprising moments. Fantastic voiceovers that make the game come to life #your boss can be irritating though...# Music and SFX were great, and added to the feel of the game. The game has a very good pace and flows really nicely.
There are some really fun and new features in this game, like the detective-mode, which made the game even more captivating. HOS and minigames are good. Graphics very clear with realistic colours #nice change from pink and purple!).
All in all I just adored this game and had more fun then I had in ages! And all of this for the SE price!! Stunning!
Try it, like it, buy it and have loads of fun!

You visit a train exhibition with your children, when suddenly the old steam train takes off, with your children on it! Of course you jump into the train to save your children!
And then the fun starts! You discover this very beautiful train, with intriguing characters in it. You have to find out what happened to these people and solve the crime they were involved in. To do so, you have to search the train, travel to Paris and visit some beautiful buildings and streets. I guess later on you get to visit some other cities as well. You get an evidence-kit, with witch you can find fingerprints and bloodstains, and an evidence-board, where you store all the clues.
The setting of this game is in the 1920's in the real world, no fantasyworld behind some kind of portal. Loved that!

Graphics are very beautiful and colorful, without being only pink and purple (phew, finally!#. VOS are done really good, they really bring the story to life, with some well done lip-synch.
The story is really engrossing and captivating, and as it unfolds and you find more clues it grabs you and you want to find out more! The music is done very good and adds to the feel of the story.
The HOS are fun, you have to use your evidence kit to find bloodstains and fingerprints, and the rest of the items can be very interactive and sometimes have to be used to find other items etc.
Puzzles are known but brought in a fun way. Not too difficult but not very easy either!

I really loved this game, and for a SE it's executed extremely well! Definately worth buying #or using a PCC on it#

We have all been waiting for a different kind of game, well, here we have it! It is a completly new category of HOPA. You can even choose in the beginning whether you want to play it in classic or in steampunk mode! Never saw that before! It is the sixth game in this series, but the least you can say is that it evolves enourmously!
The new game effects are really stunning! Graphics are beautiful. The evidence board is something new as well, and is a surprising feature.
The way the HOS are handled are.... well... different! I still have to decide if I like them this way, but at least you can call them new! Music and soundeffects are good and fit the game. VOS are great, no lip-movement.
The storyline is fantastic and i HAVE to know how this goes on! The full version is downloading now, that's why I'm keeping this short, I want to go play this game!
At least give this game a try, you'll be surprised! Have fun!
