I am an avid fan of jigsaw puzzles, so after playing the demo I decided this one was definitely the game for me. The graphics are incredible- and I only played the 'glass' level. The reviewer who stated that holding the mouse down if one is not sure where to place the piece was really helpful to me and I discovered if that piece is replaced in the queue a new and different piece will appear. This can be very helpful, especially when the puzzles become increasingly difficult toward the end of the level, as they seem to do . This is a welcome change from the Hidden Object Games I usually play and is very relaxing. I'm unable to comment on the music, as I usually have the sound turned way down when I play any game.
The graphics are extremely well done and if the remaining levels are as beautiful as was the 'glass' level, I'm looking forward to playing on.
I am anticipating many hours of enjoyment while playing 'Patchworkz', and I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves working jigsaw puzzles. It is very different!
I played the demo and before finishing it, I promptly bought it! I love the graphics, the use of color is outstanding- so crisp and bright. A welcome change from the doom and gloom, blood and gore of the majority of the games produced nowadays. The hidden object scenes are well done- clear and concise, and not crammed full of objects that are largely impossible to identify. I like the fact that once an object is found, it does not appear in the scene again. I can't comment on the music- I usually turn this down in any game I am playing, so I can't say whether it was good or bad. I did check out the map, but wasn't interested in using it at the time. I'm guessing it probably becomes more of a plus factor the farther one progresses in the game. The demo was pure pleasure to play and I'm anxious to see what other surprises this game holds. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is tired of spooky darkness, vampires, blood, doom and gloom, etc.
Gorgeous graphics and crisp artwork make this game a pleasure to play. The disappearance of the two architects comprises a very small portion of the story; the rest of which is pure fantasy building to a spectacular conclusion. I played the hard version and was able to complete the game without using the hints or the map. But, that was my choice. In fact, I didn't realize there were turtles to be found until I was well into the game. I went back and found all but one- so I think I will just have to play this game again! I liked the challenge of the different achievements; this was new to me, as most games I've played didn't have these. It was also nice not to have to turn up the brightness on my monitor in order to find the hidden objects. All in all, this was a most enjoyable game to play. I highly recommend it!
ERS has quickly become my favorite game developer. This latest offering is a case in point. The graphics are crisp, clear and well done. The mini-games are a nice mix of easy and challenging, as well as old and new. The holographic cat, so willing to help in a pinch, was an innovative touch and really added enjoyment to the gameplay. As a rule I always play the 'hard' mode and was able to complete this one without using the Strategy Guide. Yes, the 'headless' man on the title page was a bit off-putting; however, after playing about 15 minutes of the trial version- I knew I had to purchase and play it to its conclusion. I didn't regret it for a minute, as It was refreshing for a change to play a game that didn't have you sorting through numerous piles of 'junk' to accomplish your objective. I highly recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

Unfinished Tales: Illicit Love Collector's Edition
After the Raven Queen crashes her wedding, Thumbelina must save her prince to reclaim her happy ending!
Terrible game from Elephant. I could not understand the high ratings it received. I've purchased/played all their previous games and was looking forward to playing another. What a disappointment. The voice over was whiney and childish; the graphics were nothing to write home about- certainly not up to the artwork in previous games. The game play was boring and very childish. I played the trial version for about a half hour and gave up. I was not about to purchase this game even though it was half price. I'll pass on this one and would not recommend it. Not worth the money in my opinion.
I purchased this game during a BigFish Special weekend after seeing it received so many 5 star reviews. I was very disappointed and cannot understand how so many people felt it deserved 5 stars. I too, am in the minority by giving it 2 stars- and I felt I was being kind in that. I found the graphics terrible. Some objects were so small and non-recognizable that I found myself exclaiming, "Oh, that's what that is!" upon finding them. The story was gruesome- but so many these days are. I did not play the Match Three mode. I am of the opinion a HOG is a HOG and a Match Three is a Match Three. What is the purpose of combining them? - just my opinion, though. The best thing about this game was the three punches I received for the purchase. I would not recommend it and certainly will not bother to play it again.
I really enjoyed playing this game. The graphics were nicely drawn. The story held my interest. The games were a nice mix of common/easy and hard/extra hard. I will be looking for more by this game developer, they do an excellent job. It was a bit short; however, still well worth playing.
I don't usually review games; however this puzzle game is a welcome change for me from the HOGs I usually play. I purchased it after finishing about half of the hour sample- I was intrigued. I liked being able to scroll down the column of pieces. I played the maximum amount of pieces and they were a bit small, even though I am playing on a wide screen monitor. The puzzles that I played (2 so far) were a bit dark, so I am anxious to see if all are the same way. The music is nice, but not a factor as far as I am concerned, as it can be turned down or off if desired. I highly recommend this game if you like computer jigsaw puzzles as I do.
