I love this series. I own all of them and have been replaying them throughout this #StayAtHome order.
As with most of the others, it has three levels of difficulty, Relax, Casual, and Expert. It also has the challenge of beating the "Developer's Score" which is quite hard on some levels and encourages multiple playing of levels.
It DOES have the puzzle pieces. There is a plaque with a ? on it near where the piece is hidden. Sometimes it is under an object such as a bush or sheep or water, but easy enough to find to get the bonus level.
The guide that comes with the CE utilizes arrows to indicate what object should be obtained next. This is like the previous version's guide which I find easier than having to click to a picture and try to remember when you go back to the live game.
The CE also comes with bonus levels just like the previous versions. I bought the CE because I had the credits and love the series.
The graphics are somewhat updated and took me a couple levels to figure out which building type was which. There is an added difficulty of the production buildings not necessarily next to the retrieval pad.
If you truly like this type of time management game and/or a fan of the series, I highly recommend it.

Passion seems to be the theme of this game. Mary, the daughter of two prominent attorneys and recent law school graduate, starts her career at a prestigious law firm, but also finds time to moonlight as a chef. Throughout her journey, she must decide what her true passion is, and pursue it wherever it takes her.
The story is interesting enough to not "SKIP" it as you play, however the option is there. It was a bit disjointed with no continuity of characters from restaurant to restaurant. As with all of the "Emily" spin offs, the ending provides ample opportunities for a sequel.
Enough story talk, let's get down to the game itself. I played it all the way through on the NORMAL setting, and found many of the levels lacking the challenge of the other's in this series. There were not many upgrades and the extra challenge on each level was easily obtainable except for a few bonus levels.
There are no directions on how to "create" requested items so if you never played this type of time management game, you would be confused and frustrated. I agree with one of the other reviewers, it seemed very old school. Most of the Emily series' have A LOT going on during a level. This one was just about the same all the way through. There are, however, several bonus levels that were very challenging, and without any instructions, they were hard to complete.
Overall: 1. I was excited to see a time management game, especially one from the Emily family. So, so tired of HO games. 2. The story kept me playing to find out what happened next. 3. The menus were interesting and as a bonus, the real recipes are an "Extra" which I thought was a great idea. 4. While any of the "fetching" TMG's require a good sense of sequencing in order to be successful, it needed a little more variety of tasks coupled with more upgrading. 5. I have no idea why this is a CE. It doesn't have a choice marked "EXTRAS" so i'm clueless as to what the CE bonus' are.
All in all, I recommend this game to anyone who likes "Fetching" TMG's, and especially the Emily series. I look forward to the next chapter of Mary le Chef's journey along with her friends and family. (Plus more recipes!)
The legendary hero Hercules and his wife Megara are back, ready to embark on their next adventure! Restore the world's beauty and save Mother Nature from destruction!
This is a must. I have all its predecessors, and think the designer's hit the mark with this sequel.
It has 3 options of difficulty. There are new "secret" challenges in some of the levels. The hidden puzzle pieces are back. The story is worth watching each stage's intro.
I have not quite figured out what about this version makes it a Collector's Edition other than the wallpapers, but I have not finished the game.
If you are a Time Management fan, this and the rest of the series are well worth the credits.

It may just be me, but this game seems like a "different" theme of the same game. I loved the Nutcracker, but when I started A Christmas Carol, I felt like I had played this game before.
SPOILER ALERT: (These are not specific solutions, but scene descriptions none the less)
As I reached the house I started to notice some very similar rooms as The Nutcracker. The office to the right with the fireplace, going upstairs to the same hallway, having to get out of the house very similar to the Nutcracker. I was truly disappointed.
I am a time management, puzzle person who loves VERY well done HOG. MCF restored my faith, and I almost bought this demo unplayed, but I will finish the demo and see if it is worth it.

I am a big fan of the Adelantado: Book One. I actually played every difficulty level until I was able to pass it.
As with the first, there are 4 different modes:Relax, Easy, Normal, and Difficult. Even if you played the first one, start with easy. I learned that the hard way.
This one continues the story of Adelantado on his journey, finding lost settlers, meeting natives, searching for magical objects all to accomplish elabrate goals. One has to manage resources while deciding where to go, what order in which to do tasks, all while trying to beat your nemesis Commander Pablo Rodriguez, who has no regard for the native culture.
The story is actually interesting. Most games like these have sappy storylines that I ignore. This Trilogy (so far) has a story that I am taking the time to read and look forward to what happens next. It is as if you are reading a book and getting to actually make the choices the "main character" does in order to get to the end of the book.
If you love logic puzzles, you will love this game. It is very challenging, very frustrating, but very rewarding when you solve each level. It has two modes, challenge and relaxed. The music was okay, though I tend to mute the sound on most games. There is a minor storyline, but it does not truly factor into gameplay. The graphics are a perfect mix of 3D game pieces and complementary backgrounds. This is a definite buy for me.
Since this was free, I decided to give it a try. Immediately I fell in lovewith it. After buying several of the other "food prep" games, I came to realize the easiest way to play, A graphic artist computer drawing tablet.
I like the arcade aspect of it not always being the same "fish" each time. I felt the ability to purchase Power Ups was good in that earning coins to buy them was a good idea.
It is a great alternative to the same HOG, TM and Match 3, in that I felt that there was true action in it.
Discover the fabulous secrets that a jungle hides in Adelantado Trilogy: Book One! Help the brave and noble officer, Don Diego De Leon, to find and save the lost expedition.

This one reminds me of the Westward series. Having to have enough workers and soldiers etc. to keep everything going like westward as well as tasks to keep you on the path.
I liked the hints, but I haven't gotten far enough to really get into each building.
I am a huge Time Management fan from the "Dash" type games to the "new" gathering/building ones. A definite buy for me.
