I read LunaNik's detailed review, and purchased this game anyway. It is exactly as described - find a key to get a key. It is illogical with no changes in the story and no new characters. This is a horrible game! Guess I was sooo bored from being laid-off and isolated due to this deadly disease that I didn't think it through. Stay safe and well everyone!
I always read the lowest reviews first, and I should have listened to them. Tried the demo, which showed promise so I purchased it. Not only are you collecting pieces, keys, tools, etc. for one protagonist, but in this game there are three. You know you had that tool or fragment at one point, but it belongs to another character so it is no longer in your inventory. I quit playing as the game became confusing for me.
I would have enjoyed the amount of HOPS in this game, IF, the objects looked like what they were supposed to be. Most of my finds were by accident. I'd rather play a decent HOP than search for an amulet to open a chest to find a decal to open a cabinet to obtain a key, over and over again. Too bad the dark HOPS and storyline were so terrible. Based on reviews (I always read the lowest first) I did not purchase this game.

I bought this game based on the demo and one review. The demo started out very well. I liked the storyline, graphics, and puzzles. As the game progressed,it was just more of the same. Find a scraper to remove moss only to discover you need a two-part insert to open the box. Find a corked barrel, there is a cork screw in your inventory, but you must free a bird to open the barrel! This game ended up being just like all the others and I was totally bored with it by the end. I was so hoping this game would be different.
One of the better games in a long, long time. I enjoyed the storyline, the characters, the HOS. Mini games were unique. I will replay this game, and its been years since I've felt that way.
