This game turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. I am not usually into the mythical fairy/elf type themes. I bought this game as an extra after purchasing another game. Glad I added to my cart.
I played the game in the intermediate mode. Beautiful, arty scene pictures. Fun looking for fairies and I love the colourful, sparkly effects throughout. Different take on the usual HO game - lots of different puzzles. Loved the outfit I made for the Hobgoblin- geez, I must be into my second childhood - or I never left it in the first place - lol. I think kids would really like this one.
I recommend this game!

Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's The Premature Burial
I love the early mystery writers like Poe and Doyle. I think they would be pleased their stories inspire modern writers and game designers. I have a lot of the "Dark Tales" games and others with Poe's characters in them. I think the art work in this game is eye-catching and gives it a rich, textured look. Makes it interesting and visually pleasing looking for the HO's. I like this game because you aren't constantly going back too many scenes to use an inventory item - had a good flow and rhythm to it. Evening well spent and I think I used a free game credit for purchase - bonus !!

Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden
Find your missing fiancé in the deepest parts of the ocean. Discover the forgotten underwater city hiding many spine-chilling secrets.
I played this game at the Intermediate Level. LOVED IT. What an underwater cruise in the depths. A little something for every type of gamer to enjoy - adventure/HO/Board/puzzle. Great option when you play the HO's - pick your objects or sea-themed dominoes. Enjoyed the story line and following it along with the interactive characters. Layout was excellent and challenging. I'm an adult but I love getting "rewards" and trying to collect all of the badges. This game was recommended when I was shopping for other games. Glad I bought it.

Just finished playing this game. Had a lot of fun and had to wrap my brain cells around a couple of parts of it. Great combination of HO and morphing objects. I had to refer to the clue guide a couple of times (I have yet to get through any of my games without at least one peek - notice my online handle name - tee hee). Story line was good but not creepy. Vivid graphics with great outside and inside scenes to wander around in. Loved the puzzles. Another great buy from BF and I got it on sale - woo hoo.

Hi: I picked this game up as a SALE item. Good for a beginner gamer. It was simple for me but sometimes that is all I am looking for. Graphics were very good. The creators did a good job hiding some of the objects. I don't like using the HINT button but I had to a couple of times. Enjoyed playing the game

I loved Dire Grove. I will play this game again but it is definitely not for first time game players. Puzzles were very challenging but being a die hard HO game player I didn't like a complete game with morphing objects. I preferred the set up of Dire Grove for that feature. I found the overall layout and path of the game to be rough. The story line was like a trip through a badly written psychotic break. Sorry to give a thumbs down about purchase - first for me.
I don't recommend this game.

I played Bejeweled on my first computer. I gotta admit this version got me hooked again. Awesome graphics and a new twist on a great game. The "voice" is still there too. Hope others enjoy this game and this review helps. Ciao, KRA

I really enjoyed this game. Beautiful graphics, mini-puzzles were challenging and a good spooky estate to roam around in. I got a good laugh out of the chicken at the back of the house.
