I own the other three ID games, but this I'll pass on. The graphics are murky, not better. I miss having items to collect. It added an element of fun to the previous (and far superior) installments. Glad I tried it first before buying it
I don't recommend this game.

There is a lot of back and forth; fortunately, the blueprints at least indicate where an action is possible. The storyline of saving different souls who were trapped on the Titanic is engaging.
I recommend this game!

The graphics are fantastic for the hidden object scenes. And, there are hidden crowns in each scene to earn additional hints. I really like that options for hints are given, for different cost. You can get just the silhouette (1 hint credit), what it looks like, or its exact location (5 hint credits). The puzzles are challenging, but not impossible. The first one took me forever, but figuring it out was quite satisfying.
I recommend this game!

Buckingham Palace was so much fun, I had to try others in the series. The Civil War entry was a big letdown. There are only 3 hints and no hidden hints in the scenes. The only way to get more is through winning a minesweeper puzzle. In addition, the pictures are murkier than Buckingham Palace. At least in that game, I could eventually find items without using a hint. The hidden object scenes were so frustrating, that I never even made it to the puzzle section.
I don't recommend this game.

The concept seemed fun, but it started off poorly at the start when it forces use of the custom cursor. The cursor moved clumsily. There are several areas to explore and you have to search for them a bit. The HO bits are not enjoyable, because everything is shadowed and it is almost impossible to see some of the items for what they are.
I don't recommend this game.
