After a while, most match three games start looking the same. This one helps keeps things a little fresh by including a storyline with great graphics in between the actual rounds. There are some interesting variations in gameplay and different powerups to choose from.
Having said that, there's just not much you can do with this type of game. This one is fairly easy and short-lived. I don't see any re-play value so it's basically $6.99 for about 3-4 hours of play.
Fast action, great graphics ... something truly DIFFERENT

I have played a lot (and I mean A LOT) of 'marble popper' games but this is absolutely one of the best. I have played it again and again (managed, finally, to beat even the highest "insane" level). Absolutely the best ....
I'm from the "old school" of adventure games, dating back to King's Quest and Myst. This can't complete with those full version BIG BIG games, but it's a nice alternative to all those annoying hidden object games.
The puzzles are quite unusual and integrated into the story line (and some of them are very challenging!) What's best is that even if you choose to 'skip' some of the puzzles, the rest of the game is still fun.
The graphics, music and even the voiceover acting are all top quality.
A bit short (at least for experienced gamers) and I don't know if the 'Collectors Edition' is worth double the price of the game since I didn't play the regular one, but $14 does seem a bit steep. Still, it was fun and I'm looking forward to the next chapter in this well made series.
Breaking up a game into "parts" is really poor policy. This game, although not bad (although far too dark, making it hard to find the inventory items you need) is only about an hour long.
I should have known this from the other reviews, but I didn't read them closely enough. I had 14 minutes left on my 1 hour trial and bought the game -- then finished it up in about 10 minutes.
FAR too short to be sold as a separate game. It's really just chapter one of the total.
I don't recommend this game.

Nothing new here! It's just a variation on the same old plot line we've seen a thousand times before, with the same old "puzzles" (how many times have we had to place gears to get something to work?). The hidden object segments were boring and easy.
With no voice overs and poorly done graphics, there is really nothing to set this above the rest of the crowd. If it's your FIRST hidden object/adventure game, maybe it's hold your interest, but if you're even a slightly experienced gamer, you'll be bored before your trial hour is up.
Truthfully, I'm getting SO TIRED of these hidden object games!

I had almost despaired of ever finding a game that was fun, challenging and DIFFERENT. Well, this is it. Kind of a marble popper and match three together, but fast paced and very very hard at the top levels (which is one reason I like it). I highly recommend this one.
I suppose there are only so many variations game developers can come up with and once you've played as many match three games as I have, they all start to look the same. This one kept my interest and had a few added features that put it above most (but not far above). Still, worth a few hours of fun.
