bought it right away because of my last experience with SURFACE. This game was too easy. As soon as you got an inventory item you used it. No need to think too much.... the graphics were ok but too sketchy. the story was on the short side. (2012)
I recommend this game!

I thought the graphics stunk and found myself hitting the hint button too many times. Near the end I was hitting it just to end the game sooner. I can't recommend this and I'm sorry I purchased it. (2012)
I don't recommend this game.

nothing good stood out in this game to me. It was dark and the programmers didn't provide the option to adjust the gamma. The centering of screen for everytime you needed a close up look gave me eye strain. The music was boring and didn't change throughout the entire game. A pure adventure game was a nice change but I'm looking forward to playing advent/HO next. I'm recommending this.....but don't hold me responsible for your overall fun...you won't find it here. (2012)

I played the game in expert mode with my fingers crossed that I could figure out the games without the directions. Oh boy! please everyone, play the game this way....the games are overly simple and that's why it lost a rating star. some puzzles didn't even require to be moved. (eg. move one lever out of three and you completed the puzzle#. the other disappointment was the third soul. I found that chapter very short and uninteresting #on the ship) Good thing I had the bonus chapter! #2012)
I recommend this game!

seldom do I give a game 5 stars but this one was well worth it!!!! I played on this game for four days! one of the special things about this game (there are many) is that the HO scenes require inventory to complete and somethings you haven't required the item yet. You must leave the scene and come back....I loved that! Also, this game takes you several different locations so you aren't bored with the same locations. The real video inputed in the game works well, unlike the others I've played that just crashed my computer. I loved this game! I will definately seek out and play the other Surface games. BRAVO!
I recommend this game!
Be careful what you wish for... A deadly bargain has been made, and it's up to you to set things right before your nephew pays the terrible price!

the length was great! I get upset when I feel the progammers gave me a short story. but not so in this case. I liked the story and the way they took you into the pictures. good game! (2012)

Normally the Dark Demensions line is pretty good but I was sorry I purchased it. First it didn't give you a hard/med/easy playing option. I found it too dark and would've liked to adjust the gamma on the game but didn't have that option either. Not enough cut scenes or talking. Also, I found it on the short side as far as finishing it quickly. On a lighter note, the games were at a good difficultly level for me...that's the only good thing I can say about. it. (2012)
I don't recommend this game.

I'm not used to playing such poor quality. I couldn't wait for the 60 minutes to pass. I was hoping it would improve, but didn't.
I don't recommend this game.
Once again black powers have seized the kingdom of Orion. The entire city is gripped by fear and it's up to you to save them, and yourself!

I found this chapter way too easy. the games, the HO scenes and where to use your inventory, all way to simple to figure out. If you are new to this type of gaming, then this a good one to start out on. I'll recommend it but not for experienced players.
I recommend this game!

I'm glad I played in the Expert mode. No hints but still HO scenes where displayed. The ending had a nice cut scene.
I recommend this game!
