I've been waiting a long time for the next one. Here it is and I have to give them lots of credit for making it interesting and fun to play. I was worried, but I am so happy they did it again!
A great storyline and the addition of new elements and characters are what makes this one sizzle like all of the others. Perhaps even more so. Love the Power Eaters.
These games are what they are. You want to change the solitaire process? I enjoyed playing this game. Yes, it's right in there with the rest, maybe repetitive, but when you have categories for games one tends to follow the game plan!
You all are so rough on games, and I do understand. You want imagination and some change. I feel that way about the music, which is neglected. But if I were to have used your ratings to choose games, I would have missed many gems.
This is an intelligent game. Now I love the rescue series, and I can't wait for another. But this has nothing to do that series. If it would have been about rescuing a princess, would you all have jumped all over it like you did?
This game is very realistic in that it teaches what is involved in a rescue effort. The player has to remember things, and learn things. Yes, it's difficult, but they give you a strategy guide that is truly a great learning tool. You'll need it..
I hope that the developers don't get discouraged by the players that like to be spoon fed. Just do another one.
I don't know why I played the entire 60 minutes. I think it was the music that hypnotized me. Or perhaps I was just amazed that no matter what I did and how long I did it, I was still able to finish the level. I don't know what anything was. It was in itself a puzzle. Absolutely no explanation about how to play and in this case I would have loved a forced tutorial. I tried all three modes, and nothing became clearer. I just didn't understand it. Especially the weird glassy things with hairs that shut down production. Actually, I recommend that you try it. It might be perfect for you.
Good solid game. Clever, lots of bonuses some good explosive sounds. Not the usual kind of match three. It takes some real thinking. Unfortunately, when I play this type of game, I need to relax, not think. I'm happy that this game is out there, but it's just not for me.
Along with a simplistic and repetitive music track and an annoying machine-like sound whenever an action is taking place, Roads of Time is not what it touts; that it's a "wild adventure across ancient Egypt..." There is nothing wild about the game. No imagination, no characters to attach to or care about, no surprises, and no sense of accomplishment when a three-star level is reached. It was more of a feeling of relief that I got through the level.
The graphics are modern and interesting for a few minutes, but in the long-term, boring. Art and clever don't necessarily make for good gaming, especially in this case.
"Oh boy!" I thought,"a space adventure TM should be fabulous. The graphics will be amazing! The music sensational! There will be things I've never seen in a TM Game before!"
Unfortunately, none of those exciting qualities were seen. Graphics were plain and not clear. Music from an elevator. No surprises. Nothing different happens. The developers took a platform that could have been used to create a world-class game and displayed no exciting imagination. I was very disappointed.
I would recommend that everyone download and play the game for the 60 minutes, because the idea is interesting. However, "interesting" is not the reason I play games.
What a shame. This game had potential, but someone on staff had the idea to make the sound say, "Okay" every time you click on a task for your character to do. No way to stop it. The game has to be played in silence unless you just want to hear some terrible music. What a cryin' shame!
Honestly? I was shocked when I read the other reviews. I could not believe that this game would be that bad since I have played the special version. This is a great game. My all-time favorite is the Rescue series, but this is right up there. The music is wonderful, the graphics are great. The characters move faster than any of the usual slow-pokes and the game does not annoy you with a tutorial, but manages to simply teach you.
I like the bonus chests that give you boosts like your characters moving 10% faster, and when the boosts on the bottom kick in, the little guys zoom around the screen! Not a boring moment.
It is very challenging and you really have to plan ahead to get three stars. Just love it.
This is a game which is representative of the weak points of a Time Management genre. The game moves too slowly. The story line is mundane, and it practically runs itself if you happen to click the right spot.
I saw the reviews and had great expectations, but it doesn't take much thinking to get through the game.
