I get it. With so many less than accurate rave reviews on too many games, it's difficult to determine those good reviews that are spot on.
Indeed a haunted mirror story has been said and done before, however developers brought a creative twist not only to the story but to the dialogue as well. Not a fan of garish colors, I had to look past all that and decided to enjoy! Our Ominious Objects expert is a very funny lady who keeps a cool head. I think you will agree. Objects and puzzles had thought and creativity. The challenge was no more and no less than what players have requested over the years and this is the result.
Daily Magic Productions worked very hard plus in this 2nd of their Ominous Objects series. The standard edition has video clips you can review, a map, colored lens goggles, and our helpful cat, Mr. Jenkins. He is self sufficient and doesn't require feeding. ^_^
Once you see past everything preconceived, and wanted in a game and it's not there, I believe you will start enjoying the game as I did. Also, it helps to take a break from playing and gain a fresh outlook. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I don't know how developers figure out how to strategize just the right of challenge. Silver Tale and Runefall are games that are downloaded (and outlast) each new computer in my home. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
A great inspirational story, By not allowing circumstances to control you. along with a positive outlook and hard work; success is guaranteed. Incredibly hard times are the fuel to motivate. If anyone has ever been the envy of another, it is easy to understand Joseph. Game play for me, though, was less exciting. Objects were rather small and less than amazing but it's a good game to play during a coffee break, bus or car ride. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Like the developers' space aliens theme on this one. Puzzles and hidden objects from too easy to moderate challenge. Story seems to be going along at a nice clip but then someone is throwing things in the path, say, a meteorite. This has been way over done. Can we just get on with the game? This CE has all the bells and whistles, too many in my humble opinion. I am way over collecting morphs, collectibles and whatever else. There are also morphs in the hidden object scenes. Would like more challenge, please and stop the hand holding. All in all, game is not too bad considering the options being presented in the past few years. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Especially if you prefer a challenge and lean toward adventure, players will love this game. Great story that ties everything together. There are hidden object scenes as well that are time era appropriate. Some items are small but I didn't mind due to game excellence and Sobai Devs included those as part of the challenge. It is what it is. ^_^
Found all 55 o-coins if anyone is interested. Will try to include in the Elly Cooper Forum. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
If you're in the mood for a relaxing game, the Black Kingdom and the White Kingdom story will provide. Would definitely recommend to play along with the children. I often sit with my Grand Children and they are mystified by the fact that their Granny actually plays computer games. Some of us never grow up. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
A mysterious plague casts a dark shadow on the people of Persia. The young apothecary Tara must discover the cause of the illness before it's too late!
Artifex Mundi to the rescue. Didn't think they were developing any more games, This is a gem. Funny, delightful characters... even the bad guy. We all know he hasn't a snowball's chance in Ancient Persia. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
With so much going on in one game, players who like Elephant's Haunted Hotel series will appreciate the blend of two top-notch detectives--James and Dorian. My all-time favorite is fearless James Blackthorne who seems to frequently need assistance.
Elephant has obviously worked hard to reinvent the wheel for puzzles and hidden objects with some newness and creativity.
Whatever followed in the game be it, puzzles, music, hidden objects, voice overs, there was a human interest story that stayed with players throughout and kept interest. Lengthy play and my absolute favorite--hand drawn art work. Played like older released games. Look forward to more gaming excellence. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
At one time, being a much sought after game developer has sadly fallen into one boring game after another. As happens with many Eipix games, the intro builds an exciting swirl of interest and intrigue then empties into a funnel of disappointment.
After being away for nearly a year, I returned and gave Eipix yet another shot with The Andersen Accounts Chapter One. Nothing noteworthy as the objects, puzzles are incredibly easy with fuzzy artwork and a *yawn* zero plot. No intrigue. No mystery. No logic. They could have made a great game and settled again for much less. This is one member who no longer who will purchase their games nor read or rely on glowing BFG reviews. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
