A reviewer said that now when they see the man at the opening of an Eipix game, they cringe. I SO get that now. The moment this game started with me finding out I'm a seamstress, I knew I hated it. Really Eipex? A seamstress?! No offence meant towards all of the talented seamstresses out there, but not once in my life did I ever fantasize about solving a mystery......as a seamstress. Right from the start nothing makes any sense and the only positive I can say is at least the first woman you talk to doesn't have an annoyingly whiny voice. That's it! That is the only positive I can come up with. The graphics are grainy, the story doesn't make any sense, the games are once again cookie cutters and oh yeah......you're a seamstress. Eipex has GOT to get a new and fresh creative team if they hope to remain relevant. I'm so sorry for the negative vibe, but I'm just sick of these lazy, unimaginative games being spoon fed to us like we're a bunch of children without the ability of creative thinking. What irks me the most is that Eipex has all the tools they need to put out stellar games, yet they keep dolling out this drivel time and time again, regardless of all the negative reviews they've been receiving for the past year and a half. There are a couple of up and coming developers that I'm hoping will take over being the top game makers, because I am SO done with Eipix.

If you liked "League of Light: Wicked Harvest CE" you will like this one. It's similar in that the mini games and HO's are a bit different, with the story line keeping you engaged and wanting to know what comes next. the games aren't brain busters, but they're a lot of fun. I've been waiting ages for a game to get lost in and this one definitely delivers. I've been pretty critical of the cookie cutter games that have been thrown at us this past year (half of my reviews weren't even posted) but I can honestly say with confidence that this is a pretty sweet game and again, if you liked Wicked Harvest, you will really enjoy this one. Peace!
The first five minutes my thoughts were "This is the dumbest game I've ever seen" but the more I played, the more charming it became. A couple of the characters actually made me lol, so I knew I was hooked. Silly? check! Weird yet delightfully so? Check! Made me forget all about politics and news for awhile? Check!! Play out the whole demo before dismissing this bizarre, quirky and fun game.
The first time I played LoL Wicked Harvest, I was hooked and it's still to this day one of my all time favorites. I purchased the one that followed without even trying the demo, which turned out to be not even close and I will never do that again. Well I am happy to say that I just finished the demo on this one and I'm sitting here grinning like a madwoman waiting for it to be done installing. It's not at all a brain buster, but it offers the same kind of escape and fun that WH did and because Sunnyglow was kind enough to list the details, I can cut this review short and duck out of reality for awhile on my day off. It's a delightful romp and I couldn't be happier. Peace!
The only thing I can up up with as to why we're being offered these ridiculous games, is maybe the demographic has changed and only children are buying them now. I don't get it. I don't get why the devs are still churning out these games after so many reviews are complaining about lack of originality, repetitious game play, bad story lines and the one that will most likely be said about this game, targeted at children, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." Hmmm......
I don't recommend this game.

Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece Collector's Edition
Albert's worst nightmare becomes reality when a creature from his grim paintings kidnaps his family. What does she want?
This has been detailed to death, so I'm just going to say that if you're having one of those "I'm bored, but I don't know what I wanna do" days, this is THE perfect game for that. It's not going to test your intelligence, or make you jump out of your seat, but it IS going to suck you in to the point you're not going to know what happened to your day. It's one of those very enjoyable games that you will want to replay down the line, so it's well worth the money.
I'm not sure what I just played, but it certainly wasn't a MCF game. I just finished and I'm still tilting my head like Nipper wondering what I was doing for the past couple of hours. I've played some duds in my time, but this story line (or lack thereof) has to be one of the most jumbled up going nowhere stories I've ever tried to follow. I would love to go into more details for you, but anything I would attempt to describe would make absolutely no sense, so I'll just leave it at......I don't even know.
It's obvious this was made by a designer outside the US, (misspelled words here & there) which I certainly don't mind. But when the voices sound like a cross between a robot and an outsourced customer service phone rep, I get a little irritated. The visuals are right down the middle, meaning there is nothing unclear in the HoP's, but there is also nothing spectacular either. It's a cookie cutter game that we've seen a million times, but if you have several free game coupons lying around that you just don't know what to do with, go ahead and throw one at this game. Other than that, I wouldn't waste the money on this one.
1998 called....they want their game back. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but they HAD to of pulled this out of the dustbin. Graphics are just, awful. The only word I can think of to describe the graphics is....brown. The characters are lifeless, boring people, and I just wanted them to go away and leave me alone. The game play is extremely dull as well, and I'm not going to waste a ton of time describing what is probably the worst HO game I've seen in a long time. After the two Adam Wolfe games came out, I had high hopes that most of the new SE games would be as good as those from now on. Pfft! Nope. I do not recommend this game, and for the first time I actually don't even recommend the trial. Save yourselves that little bit of time and do something more fun......like watch a curling marathon.
How did I miss this game?! Thankfully I was reading reviews for another game and one of the reviewers selected this game as his favorite. It peaked my curiosity (I rarely miss games when they come out) and withing the first 15 minutes I knew it was a buy. The voice overs are the best I've ever heard, and the game play is soooo fun! I didn't have a game coupon (wasted it on a not-so-fun game) but I bought it anyway....it's that good! I urge you to give this one a go!
