The game can be fun, but it is a back tracking nightmare. You will visit the SAME scene 40-50 times or more to collect what you need to advance the story line, and it's not just one scene, but ALL OF THEM!! Progress is minimal, at best. And there is a time limit between visits imposed on the player, some as long as 30 minutes, before you can return.
Unless, of course, you are willing to make in-game purchases. Then you can move along, but it is still very slow going.
It's an interesting game, but has way to much backtracking for my taste.
I don't recommend this game.

I had high hopes for this game. The player is tasked with completing a puzzle with the 5 parts shown by the game at any one time. There may well be more than five pieces to complete the puzzle, but the player is stuck with just the 5 pieces the program decides to give them at any time in a level. Oh, and did I mention that the player was penalized for incorrect placement of puzzle pieces? They can only make 3 mistakes.
Not being able to choose from ALL available puzzle pieces sinks this game. Much more frustration than fun.
Not recommended.

A madman is murdering seemingly unconnected women, and you as the detective have to track him down. It's a good premise, used often in hidden object games, but this one tends to overuse some things, and not develop others.
In order to advance, the player needs to find a special item. That item will have a different puzzle, but it is always the same type of item. It is always solved in the same place too.
In the plot, some under the surface plotlines are introduced -- and never developed. Why introduce them if you really aren't going to use them?
And lastly, the ending feels rushed, like the game was overdue at the publisher, and it needed an ending NOW. Very unsatisfying.
In short, the game had potential, it just never developed it.

The entire basis of this game is to defeat the challenges, which unlock another slot machine with new challenges. The menu shows 4 slot machines, but you will only be able to play 3. The final challenge on the third slot machine is utterly impossible to beat, due to the constant hitting of the bonus, which eats up precious time, but does not count wins in the bonus game towards your goal.
If you are okay with only 3 slot machines instead of the 4 advertised, the game is fun. But if you want to play all four machines, you'll be sorely disappointed.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is similar to The Sims, but of course, much lighter. The problem is it takes FOREVER to do anything! Making a meal takes 10 minutes of real time, which is ridiculous. There is no speed button, which would help immensely.
You have to repeat the same chores (create a meal, eat a meal, take a shower) every day. Couldn't this be streamlined?
If you are looking for a very slow, tedious version of The Sims, this game is for you, but if your not, forget it.
I don't recommend this game.

This game definitely had the potential to be very good. The concept of finding things for a group of Jetsetting clients is novel. Sadly this potential is unachieved thanks in large part to the fuzzy hidden object scenes themselves. There are "chips" used as the help resource, again a novel idea, and you gain chips by playing casino games when on vacation, another novel idea.
But some of these chips are practically worthless. One is supposed to circle the next object on the list, but is so quick the player is likely to miss what was circled unless they were specifically focused on that part of the scene.
The scenes are also somewhat fuzzy and have dark colored objects on darker colored backgrounds making it next to impossible to find the items.
This review is based on the demo alone, as I deleted the game after only 30 minutes of playing time. Definitely try before you buy on this one.
I don't recommend this game.

This game definitely needs some fine tuning in the area of play balancing. Regardless of the strength of the human player, the computer player has the definite advantage. To test this, I set the Union at "strong", supposedly the best setting, and the Confederate at "weak", supposedly a pushover. The Confederates routinely wiped out the Union armies. I had invested my gold in better troops and skills, which apparently had absolutely no effect on them, and the computer just kept buying run of the mill units, which would destroy my supposedly more skilled, and equal strengthed armies (I had more gold, so I could buy more troops AND skills as well). This destroys any fun factor, or realistic chance to win, as the human player, and doesn't even touch on the random Indian/Mexican war parties (depending which side the human player is playing) who routinely destroy any units/forts they encounter.
With some major play balancing, this could be a fun game, just not now.
Definitely not recommended.
