A year or so ago, I left a scathing reply to a BFG survey, complaining about how women characters were portrayed. One example was that they were too dumb to innovate with objects in their inventory. So many knives were misused, lost, overlooked. Bags were out of reach when all it took was to pull a branch closer. Their only requirement was to look pretty.
Well, I have to say it's been a long time since I played a HO game without cussing a zillion times.
I played this game last night (what took me so long?!) and was shocked at how smart the MC was. How she was confident without being overbearing. She could disagree without being disagreeable. Her clothing covered up her curves and there was no hint of flirting between her and the Ancient.
Sorry, Persian Nights (first version), you were my top game as far as treating the woman as an equal. You're now in second place.
I recommend this game!

Finally! A hidden object game that focuses on hidden objects. In the last few years, there has been a tendency to label puzzle games as HOGs yet the game-play emphasis was certainly not on hidden objects.
This game checks all my requirements:
- HOG scenes and plenty of them.
- The puzzles are repetitive and get more difficult as the game progresses. Thankfully, the 'skip' timer can be set to 1-second. I dislike puzzles. No, I really dislike puzzles.
- Another plus is that there is no blood, gore, or things jumping out at you. Life is scary enough. I don't need to invite it into my entertainment. (Reminder: This is my personal opinion. YMMV)
Not required but something missing lately: Fractured Objects. One developer still offers them and I swoop those games up quickly.
Great work Mariaglorum. You took a chance. I hope people reward you for it. And please make more games like this. I may actually start buying them more often.
I recommend this game!
