Based on demo only which took me 32 minutes to complete in Hard Core Mode. Others have described the storyline well. I found the graphics to be cartoonish and the game play is typical Mad Head Games .
Their games are a bit different to the norm but are way too easy for the hard core player as are the Hidden Object scenes. Can't see the point of the CE stupid symbols to find and morphs. Blah!
Where are the thinking players games like Ravenhearst and 13 th skull? Nothing new in this game for me,
Would only recommend for beginners and intermediate players;.
I don't recommend this game.

I normally skip Eipix games finding the game play just too similar with nothing new. With this game they have excelled in my opinion. I loved it! Great graphics, story, music etc. Not a kidnapping, car accident or murder in sight!
I played hard core as I like a challenge with no hand holding and this is what I got. Mini games were new and different some easier than others but gave me a run for my money.
We just do not get games like Madam Fate, 13 Skulls, Ravenhearst, and original Dire Grove any more and they have tended to blend into one another. Good on Eipix for showing some originality.
I recommend this game!

What can I say? Other reviewers have covered the game well. So disappointed MCF this is NOT. This is just another generic Eipix game and not a patch on Ravenhearst and Madam Fate. I think the days of really challenging games are long gone mores the pity.
I don't recommend this game.

I am not going to go into the ins and outs of this game as it has been fully covered by other reviewers. I just want to say WOW! well done developers, this is more like the games of old such as the ORIGINAL Ravenhearst (not the latest Eipix generic version which I bought and HATED!) and the 13th Skull.
Intelligent game where you have to use your brain and boy oh boy did I get brain strain at times! I did it on hard level and managed to finish without any help but I did struggle at times but once I learnt to click everywhere around where I thought I should be it worked fine.
The puzzles wee challenging and sometimes I had to exit and go back later for the ones I found hard but all doable and I am a senior and like to challenge my brain.
Why I haven't played this series before I do not know but I will be trying out all the others that's for sure. Thank you developers and lets have more!
By the way I play on Windows XP (yes really!) and the game played beautifully no problems at all.
I recommend this game!

I was looking for a game to use up a free game credit and based on other reviews bought straight away. Well, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and so much better than some of the CEs we have been getting of late. OK there are few foibles like mouths don't move etc but this hardly matters.
A different story line and lots of puzzles some very different from what has been on offer before and some quite challenging but all doable.
Well done developers and BFG, the best SE I have played.
I recommend this game!

Love love love it. Great graphics, music & storyline. Got gold on all levels but some levels I had to repeat. NO glitches what a change! I play on Windows XP (yes a lesser class mortal!) and have had problems with access violations in other TM games such as MOAI 2. I rate Brownies as the top TM game out there and very enjoyable please let there be a Brownies 2.
I recommend this game!

For me this game had it all. I have been looking for a challenging game for some time bemoaning the fact that games such as the Ravenhearst series, Madam fate and the original Dire Grove were just not being developed. I was totally sick of boring Eipix.
Played this game in hardcore mode and boy was it a challenge. Took a few days but I wouldn't give in and played it to the end without hints, skips and guide. The games are different and very difficult in parts. One of the drop picture games took me a few hours to complete.
The graphics are great and whilst the storyline has been done before it was still OK.
Good extras which makes a change in CEs these days.
I don't agree with other reviewers who say it was hard to follow I did it without help you just have to persevere and perhaps click everwhere! You collect glass shards during the game which once complete form a mirror which unlocks a hidden chapter. Finding the glass shards in some scenes was challenging.
Good on you Grandma games and keep up the good work
I recommend this game!

The format of the game has been covered. All I can say is this is one of the shortest CEs I have ever played and just not worth the money. I played in hardcore mode and still completed this easy game in 2 hours, yes 2 hours I timed it. The game itself is not bad just poor value. Wait for the SE is my recommendation.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't usually write reviews but this game was so fantastic I just had to add my thoughts. Hard to believe this was a SE as another review stated puts most CEs to shame.
The story line has been covered. I played in Expert mode and enjoyed many hours of play without any help. 2 of the puzzles I found really difficult but persevered and got there in the end.
Graphics are fantastic.
DO NOT PASS THIS ONE UP,
I recommend this game!

Wow! Not sure if this is a new developer or not but name not familiar to me. I played in Expert mode as I don't like to have my hand held and review is based on that mode of play.
The game takes place in two realms and you have to find stones that activate portals through to the shadow realms where actions also effect your realm.
I found the sound and graphics to be good and the storyline also was OK. The concept is hidden object and they have tried to make the hidden object scenes interesting and on the whole they have succeeded.
There are some twists in that you have to find runes to activate a spell book and spells can be used throughout the game. The mini games are different to the norm and I found them enjoyable.
Demo was 90 minutes and I had 19 minutes left. A definite buy for me.
I recommend this game!
