I own all of your games and they get better and better each game; until this one. I think you took 2 steps back on this one. I don't like when you're supposed to (example) find a bear and there's 3 in the scene that you have to click on until you click on the right one. And I always love finding the trash items but this edition is so cluttered and the graphics aren't as professional looking as usual. And why does it take so long for the score to come up after ending each level? A long pause. I do appreciate being able to skip mini games quickly now. That's a plus. Your games are one of the few that I play over and over again. But this one isn't a favorite compared to the others. Sorry. I'm still a fan of the series though.
I'm really disappointed in this game. I love the dog but I'm doing more reading, going back and forth and clicking on the hint button than finding hidden objects. Finding one object at a time then moving to another scene and finding one object is not a HOG to me. The graphics are really good though. I give them credit for that.
Unfortunately this game and I are not a match. First off I clicked on the relaxed mode and when I went to play the game it has a clock telling me how long it's taking me to play that level. I don't need that. The graphics aren't the best. I never did find the last match on the first level. Thank goodness I played the demo first.
I'm playing the relaxed mode and really enjoying the game when all of a sudden I have to replay a level because I used up all of my moves. I just want to play. I don't want to keep track of how many moves I'm making. If it wasn't for the great graphics, music and storyline I would've only given it 1 star. If they can do a fix and get rid of the 'moves' counter I'll give it 5 stars when I finish the game. Right now the 'Relaxed' mode is not relaxing.
This game is shocking to me. There's only 3 or 4 Match 3 games that I like and this one has been added to the list. I've been playing it for 5 days now hours at a time and still haven't reached the end. I love the challenge, the graphics and the music. The only thing I would complain about is the battle mini games. I didn't have a 4 or 5 match throughout some of the battles. I love that the game has a check mark that I can click on so I can finish the battle if I don't want to replay it. I recommend this game to everyone that doesn't like being rushed through games. This one is very relaxing. I hope to see a sequel.
This game has a lot of HOGs which I love but I can't stand only having a certain amount of time to look for the objects. I'm a senior and it takes me longer to focus in on them. Also I get up to go get something in the kitchen and have forgot to hit the 'Pause' button. I would love a HOG that has a relaxed mode and no timers. And hint buttons that don't have to recharge. They're automatically ready to be clicked on again if you need a hint.
I love western games but when you've only got 15 minutes to play at a time and it takes a minute for the 'hint' to recharge I find myself going to another game to play.
I've bought many games from BFG and have done many reviews. But this will be the first time I've done a Pro's and Con's review and not had a 'Con'. The game starts out where you can pick custom settings. I love being able to play the 'Relaxed' mode and then being able to make the 'Skip' and 'Hint' buttons recharge quicker. I'm not fond of the 'dark' games but this one wasn't bad at all. I actually read all of the dialogue in this one. And the 'whodunit' surprised me at the end. It wasn't who I thought it was. The graphics, music and mini games are great. And you can skip the mini games that you're not interested in right away and not have to wait 60 seconds like in a lot of games. In each scene they have owls and a mysterious object you can look for if you want. I really enjoyed hunting for those. Especially the mystery object. You don't get punished for clicking on things too many times while trying to find it. It took me 3 days to leisurely play this game. I love this game so much that I bought the rest of the Living Legend series. I highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed the artwork of the creatures in this game. Everything else in it is a mess to me. I got to the third chapter and spent more time than I wanted to trying to find the answer on 2 scenes and never could. I hate using walkthroughs too so this game was a fail for me.
Vacation Adventures: Cruise Director games are always on my Favorites list. And Vacation Adventures: Cruise Director 5 is just as great. These games I can play repeatedly and never get tired of them. I wish they had a 'SKIP' button for when I'm looking for 'Lost and Found' items. Sometimes I cant find something at the moment and would like to find the rest of the items and then come back to find that item. I recommend this game to beginners, intermediate and expert HOG players.
