I love this series and have all the New York Mystery games. However, I know I have played this game before. It was very familiar to me from the beginning when she is kidnapped and in the first few scenes such as the carnival scene, in the canoe and in the laboratory. I also remember the puzzles such as the masks and the constellations for example. The collectibles were also very familiar. I have several hundred games so I can't be sure which game it was. If anyone else thinks this is familiar please let me know.

I have all of these games and love them. Sometimes it is nice to just relax and play. I get tired of playing the dark dungeons, castles, blood and gore. Usually the same themes i.e. portals, ghosts, sci-fi monsters kidnapping someone etc. I do buy and enjoy those but it's nice to have a choice of a different caliber. BTW I am 73 years old and still enjoy the playing all different games. It's just that most of the ones that come out now are basically the same kind of themes.

I don't understand the low ratings this game has gotten. I have all of these games and love them. I think this was the first fragmented HOP I had ever played and loved it. I really wish they would come out with a new one. It's been several years since the last one came out.
Who is the Crimson Thief? Can Mortimer piece together the clues to finding all the stolen items? There is much more to this new mystery than meets the eye.

I was glad to see that BFG offers this series. I have had these games for a few years now and still enjoy playing them again from time to time. This series along with the MCF series was what got me hooked on HOS. I especially enjoyed the fragment HOS they came up with. I hope that if any new Mortimer Becketts come out you will also carry them and let us know they are on your website. I have not seen them posted here until I saw this one for a day or two and then when I went to search games to find that you carried all of them. Thanks for all the good games you offer.
