i read the reviews and thought to give this a shot...after 25 min had to quit. this for me is a no buy even at 2.99

hint system not very good.
the tutorial not very good either
i don't need my hand held but a walkthrough would be nice
basically it is hit and miss with this game
and it was a miss with me.
do not let this deter you from giving it a try.

Just like all the other build-a-lots...
same goals
same game play
the only twist is the graphics
they are supposed to be scary
but no matter how they dress it up it is still the same old game as the first!
oh and u get ... achievements big woo...
i have the 1st 3 and always got stuck on a level and no matter how i would work them could not pass it...
but don't let me put u off if u love the series this will add another replica to your collection.
i gave it 3 stars because nothing special about this game

full demo and was nearly finished with the game lol
another farmhouse really? how "original"
1st of all there is no such word as dices pertaining to dice!
it is die for 1 and dice for more than 1
dices means to cut something up (stupid progammers have they not heard of spell check?)
pros and this depends on personal likes and dislikes:
this is a straight forward game no back and forth (yay!)
nice for beginners
items not hard to find not a junk pile
graphics were not bad (they must have had a low budget tho)
if u dont play with the sound this if for u ik i watch tv and play so my sound is usually off
cons:
from what i read the game is very short
if u like vos then there is none.
hint system for non ho scenes only tells you go to another area or something like that no arrow or anything telling you where u must go next. (dont u just hate that? especially on big games)

Pros;
cinamatics wonderful
graphics nice and clear
hos not too cluttery objects not too tiny
vos not bad or over dramtic
music cannot comment on since i usually turn it off
ambiance was nice
the game was not too dark (thank goodness)
cons:
way too short for a CE finished the whole game in under 4 hours
you would not be missing much if you wait for the SE
the bonus chapter just tells you how the clown got out again and only takes maybe 30 min to complete.
all in all a great game

this is not your normal game you expect :)
graphics are excellent
on full hour of demo:
animations great
you can click thru the chit chat if you want but it is insturmental in what you are doing
battles all you need is some logic
3rd person view
tutorial has a lot to be desired
usable inventory
interesting characters voices match the character very nice!
this is not an ho or tm i guess it is considered an adventure game
but there is alot of logic involved so you do have to use your brain (lol)
it is not necessarily a fast paced game so it may be boring for some players.
easy interface click and point mostly and pay attention to what things r said
basic story: your character is a psychotherapist that can hypnotize ppl and help them with their phobias in their dreams.
thats all i am telling because i think this gem should be given a chance!

but when your fighting the demon in the nightmare you do.
and stratedgy too.

i liked the going into the room and searching
started out promising until i hit the match 3
that part was so silly i wish they had made it to me it did not fit very well into the theme
should have been you work on a room and once you did all you can there then move on to the next one
but for all you match 3 pppl u may love this
so i do recommend it just for ppl that love these types of games.

i read the other reviews and thought i would give it a chance anyway. based on demo.
No vo's just reading
sound not sure since i turned off the music which i normally do
graphics nice and clear altho some parts of objects have tendency to be obscure
the constant loading is annoying but they are quick to load
the drawing and coloring of the characters look like a good comic book drawing nicely done and clear.
not too dark or too light.
must give this lil game a chance.
a good free or 2.99 game :)

i was very disappointed that this was not near as well done as the 1st 2 in the series

way down memory lane focuses on the past more than the present and remembering as the 1st 2 did.
i personally do not care for this installment
i thing they should put a voice in it.
