The market is so inundated with HOGs and the like. The few M3 games that come out are lackluster in comparison. This game, however, rises above the norm. This game is visually stunning. I'm not keen on the whole "collecting/building villages" thing, but this is different. You build the most gorgeous castles. There are many levels and the game play is just challenging enough. I bought it and if you like M3 games, I suggest you do as well.
I recommend this game!

Typical match 3, poor English, a bit on the dark side graphically. It's an OK game, but the awful clanging metal sound effects totally turned me off. I assume it's supposed to be swords clanging? Whatever... it was nerve-jangling and so irritating I only played for about 5 minutes.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm so tired of the creepy/fantastical HOGs... This was such a breath of fresh air. The humor is much appreciated. The graphics are well-executed, game play is just challenging enough, memory management is excellent. Yeah... I'm going to buy it.
I recommend this game!

This is the best match-3 game I've seen in a while. It's challenging. It's not just making matches; it makes you think. You have to best determine what moves to make because success is based on the number of moves, not on a time limit. Different goals are required to pass each level. The supporting interface elements are good. If you play it right, you can use the rotation feature to your advantage. Memory management is good. I could care less about building a village, or empire, or whatever. I just want match-3 fun that holds my interest, and this game definitely delivers. Well done.
I recommend this game!

I am not a jazz person, but you don't have to be to appreciate what this game has to offer. Firstly, it has the most original story line. Someone definitely put a great deal of thought into the plot and characters. Secondly, the mini games might seem familiar, but they are presented in a way that's fresh and interesting. The graphics are great, the game's memory management is good, the interactive elements (collectibles, etc.) are fun, and the voice-overs are well acted. IMHO - this is thus far the best-engineered game of 2014. Can't wait to see what other developers do to top it.
I recommend this game!

I don't know why this gets such high marks. The graphics are really sub-par (just look at the horse in the overture), the cards are so squat and blandly-colored they are difficult to see. I think maybe people are starved for the next new solitaire game; they come out so seldom (same with good match 3 games). On the plus side, the memory management is good; no errors, quick to load and refresh. Final analysis: there are better solitaire games out there. This is not a "buy."
I don't recommend this game.

Pros:
- The game memory management is very good; no lag time.
- The graphics are well-done, even if unappealing (to me).
Cons:
- The game tiles are too small.
- There are not enough (or obvious enough) indicators for achievements/bonuses.
- The power-ups are not visible enough.
This is yet another in a long line of passable, but not truly worthy-of-a-purchase non-HOG games. The market is inundated with HOGS with not enough variety of other games. I'd really like to see some quality match-3 games being released. There haven't been any exceptional ones in a long time. This is no exception.
I don't recommend this game.

If you haven't you really should. This is the only game I know of where you can really enjoy the game before you even start the game. The animated sequence loops, but I think it's enjoyable. The game itself is fun. I'm not fond of annoying little creatures/characters, but they aren't too annoying in this game. I like the puzzles and most of the artwork. But that intro is what earned it the stars.

I'm an M3 junkie, but the games have to be challenging and fast-paced. The story line is less important than the action. This particular game is obviously for kids. The graphics are too cartoonish, the performance is slow (I think intentionally), and the game pieces are too large, making it difficult to focus on the next move. I played for about 5 minutes. That's all I could stand. When, oh, when is someone going to develop a new M3 worth buying?
I don't recommend this game.
