What a gloriously wholesome & addictive game. I couldn't stop playing till the very end!
The graphic artwork is well worth the purchase. Each time a full magic card appeared I just stopped short to gaze at the wonderful imaginative images created in this delightful game!
The wee red headed pixie helps explain and boost your confidence throughout the game as you call upon her to rearrange the stones. She's so cute!
This, the first one, is more challenging for time and points, but not knocking the 4 Elements ll as it is tons of fun too!
I fully recommend this game for fun and relaxation for the whole family.
I recommend this game!

I am probably one of a few who did not know the Nutcracker story as I grew up & although I have collected Nutcrackers of all designs & sizes I am now fully in love with the story too!
Playing the game I was so impressed with the way this was arranged for storyline, music and graphics, as they all came together so fluidly.
Starting out with the sleepy doorman and then the HUGE,beautifully decorated Christmas tree I could not help but enjoy playing each time I opened it.
The kitchen heaped with goodies, filled stockings and presents, fire burning in old-fashioned stove.... For someone who enjoys Christmas as much as I this sure was a temptation.
There is considerable travelling back and forth so get those sturdy golashes, warm jacket & mittens ready before you venture forth.lol
If you feel you could get lost travelling around the grounds, mansion, library or hunting lodge (to name only a few locations) there is an interactive map to help you on your way.
I am also happy there was no bloodshed even when the prince/nutcracker went after one or more of the army rats with his sword. Just a lot of good clean fun!!
The HOscenes were more than crammed full of items to pick from, but because they were so ornate and frilly you could not help but get carried away with the admiration of the whole collection before clicking them off your list.
The CE has an additional story which adds to the delight of the players.
I admit to being fully impressed and most likely will play it once again.
I recommend this game!

This is a most enjoyable game, full of colourful stones and pixies.
Not a whole lot of challenge in the early game, just a lot of fun to play.
The music and graphics all stick to the theme with the magician sleeping through it all..lol
I recommend to all ages cause it is so spirited and clean.

What a fun & relaxing little game! I played for less than 5 mins. & bing I bought it.
If you enjoy Word Games as much as I do this one is a perfect solution. Timed or not, Challenged or Classic.
The game gives you tons of other assessments as well that you may or may not have made.
The uniqueness of this game is you can use the same letter twice, either back to back as in -spill- or seperated as in -none- as long as your letters are connected to each other. That same letter does not have to appear twice on the board in order to be used a second time.
This is perfect for longer words.
The game is clear and well made and responsive to your speed.
I have played every game in the BF Word Catagory but only one other met my expectations & that was Word Web Deluxe which I have played often since 2007 & met a very high score with 16 letter words! Wow was that fun!!
Today is a bargain with the BF 2 for 1 sale on 'till Christmas,so don't delay buy today.
I fully recommend this game for all ages.

What a lovely game! So different then the norm of dark castles, cold rain and mega rust.
This HOG, once through the portal to Botanica is bright, cheerful, full of good characters, jurassic-like animals so alive, colourful & helpful too! Eddie the gigantic dragonfly equipped with saddle was particularily helpful being their transportation across the wide river!
Lots of movement from tiny creatures doing the back, breast and side strokes into the air. All floating around in a spectrum of colour.
The music is pleasant. The voiceovers are distinct as there are quite a few characters that have something to say. lol
I was totally impressed with the whole origional storyline & hope they (Boom Zap) comes up with followup to this story.
All that said I still have two disagreements with the game.
One: However much fun to play it was much too short for my likeing. Once the epilogue played out there was no going back. So if you missed some of the dialogue as they return through the portal it will be totally lost unless you replay the entire game.
Two: I payed for the CE which ,for the extra money, you usually get a bonus game and can choose when to play that bonus.
Well, again once the origional game is played there is no way to play the bonus as it is does not have a window to go to. [I am not explaining this right!]
In other words you will have to play the entire game again from start to finish in order to get to the bonus which features the young fella Sam,a resident of Botanica.
I feel cheated for these two reasons and that is why I gave it only 4 stars as it well deserves 5 stars for it's origionality.
I will, however still recommend the SE.
I recommend this game!

This is a terrific game & a challenge for anyone's imagination.
Yes, young & old alike will benefit from this brain stimulating game as the Wizard gives you clues to visualize items & 8 chances to guess what the item is as the picture unfolds.
The HOS are fun too but not the same as your usual hos by picking out the listed items. With this game you point out the missing item,it will then be painted in by the Wizard.
A different & enchanting game for all ages.
Can't hurt to give it a try!!
I recommend this game!

Eerie, foreboding, sinister & evil will describe this HOG.
It is your job to obtain all 9 amulets from the good guys to save the world by closing this portal of EVIL after defeating the demons from The Dark Side!
There are lots of deep, dank dungeons & caverns in this huge dark castle. You must maneuver the pitfalls & mini games along with relatively dark but easy to find items in the HOS to fullfill your goal.
At first I was a bit hesitant to go forward as I was not sure where this was headed & whether I would even like the game, but once started & with some help from our trusty walkthrough I soon found this game exciting & entertaining.
The music and ambient and good clean up to date graphics are well done in order to bring this game together and make it a favorite.
I recommend this game!

I am most impressed with this Mahjong! Good clean fun with speed the main factor. [Another great factor is the characters don't move and jump around as you skim over them which is most annoying!!]
I have a 23" monitor and let me tell ya it sure is a lot of work with eyes all over trying to find matches!
But whos complaining this is the BEST Mahjong I have see in a long while and just love to go back to playing it for a break from the more difficult HOGs.
I fully recommend it to one and all!

I have now played the entire series of Awakening. Moonfell Wood,The Dreamless Castle ,the Goblin Kingdom & am now trying to get through the Skyward Castle!
Although I have not submitted reviews of the other 3 I fell in love with each one and could not wait for the conclusion even though I did not want them to end!!
The Skyward Castle is the only CE I purchased & am sorry to say I am truely disappointed with it. Being almost 1/2 way through the game it feels 'flat' & unexciting compared to the other 3 which were lively & fun full, of faeries, humans, dwarfs & my fav the goblins all pitching a hand to help the princess on a successful journey.
The Skyward has very few helpers of any rememberance.
An injured unicorn with a broken wing, an ongoing wise owl and pocket dragon and a 'small' handful of 'stoned' civilians [turned to stone from curse] scattered throughout this long game.
Although Skyward has all the elements of a fine game such as lovely graphics, music in tune to the theme, several cute mini-games & easy enough HOS along with good clear dialogue, the main ingredient 'the storyline' lacks any excitement or flare to encourage continuous play.
I just can't seem to stay interested long enough to finish it. But finish it I will ....one day!!
All that being said I cannot deny recommending the game to others.
I recommend this game!

RASPY voices, mournful HOWLING, DEMONIC faces!!!!
How appropriate for this exceptionally well made HOG.
The music is ghoulish, the storyline following Exorcist 1 could not be more befitting.
The excellent voiceovers in the cut-scenes are an integral part of the game so don't skip over them or you will miss much of this ghoulish story.
The HOS are well made and along with several side games and unexpected surprises it all adds up to quite an experience!!
I enjoyed it and hope you do too!!
I recommend this game!
