Great game!!! It's a typing game with an adventure storyline. The game plays linear, but with wiggle room. It does have a learning curve for those that don't type so well. The more you play the game, the better the typing. It is forgiving if you "die" which is usually at the "boss" instances. You just have to start the fight over. TBH, I didn't mind that. I enjoyed the battles. Graphics are nice, I liked the narration, and loved the page flipping sound effects as new areas opened up. Navigation was not the greatest. Flipping from the map to the game could have been easier. And I leveled up the attributes too quickly, I think about halfway through the game they were done. This was a refreshing break from HO and Match 3 games. Highly recommend!
Only did the trial, but got to lvl 44. The difficulty was increasing the further I went. But with hitting 44 in the trial, not gonna waste the money on it. Thinking with middle/high school kids this could be a good game. Liked that it incorporated different skills from manual dexterity to science to art to...well you get the idea. Only cons were the hint button too easy to access, which allows too much skipping, and 1 hour for almost half the game
The game was nice, graphics beautiful. I like the scrolling from area to area. Storyline was enjoyable, if predicatable.
The game was not hard at all, and I liked how they did the hints. You wont burn a hint if you've "cleared" a room, it will let you know which direction to head in. That's good to zero in on where you should be without fully cheating. Any question of what to do, always click on Anna, or scroll over an object in inv and it will tell you where it goes.
The puzzles were pretty standard with a few that were new to me. I skipped a couple just because they are so trifling.
The game is really short, 5 areas and 1 bonus. And after the 1st area, you got the mechanics and gist all down.
This may not be for a beginner, but intermediate and higher
This series has been outstanding....until this game. Took less than 4 hours to finish, including all trophies. Think this is going to be like Aveyond, 1st couple in the series were long and satisfying. Then they cranked out "chapters" that were way shorter and you knew they were just trying to squeeze as much money out of you as possible.
I've played so many of these games, I'm pretty expert at 'em. But this one is super tough! I'm about 3/4 of the way thru and at the point where even with the guide I cant get gold on the levels. Major multitasking is req'd. And what's needed to win some levels is just nothing I would have come up with on my own. The fun gets taken away as I'm now just reading the guide and trying to do what it says. And still taking 5 or so tries to pass a level with gold

The game is enjoyable, as something different, very old school. But part 1 was incredibly short for a gc credit. I think i could play just the trial and finish it! Esp if they gave me a map to quickly hop to locations. But alas, it was not provided. Probably half of part 1 was taken up with going from location to location. Trifling!

Easy game with little challenge, entertained without having to break a sweat. But the ending was abrupt, as in there wasn't really one. I counted only 36 levels (because I couldn't believe it was the end), so a bit cheap. Overall a no-brainer time killer. And yeah, I'll look into the sequel. They got me there =-)
I recommend this game!

Pirates of the Atlantic
Defend your fortress from pirate invaders with the help of some lead, a cannon, and a lot of gunpowder.
Got the demo since no one has reviewed it. Very simplistic gameplay, The only challenge is using physics. You have to time your shots against the speed and height of the attackers all the while trying to "right click" for your own defense. Played the whole hour, after the 4th lvl, nothing new, had almost maxed all available upgrades.
