I know that on regular klondike solitaire, it is hit or miss as to whether you are going to win any given hand.
However, on Jewel Match Solitaire X Collector's Edition, which is a game by the same developer as this one, whether you win a hand is largely dependent on how well you play your cards. It was great fun.
Such is not the case in this game. In Jewel Match Solitaire: Atlantis 2 Collector's Edition, after you get to the extra levels, hands became largely unwinnable without having to play the hand five or six times, or sometimes more.
And, those wins did not come without having to use all the extra elements that can be purchased. You cannot win based purely on playing your cards. Whether you win a hand has nothing at all to do with how you play your hand.
The skill element that plays such a large part in the Solitaire X game is gone and is replaced in this game by pure dumb luck. All the fun is removed as you sit and click one card after another and play hands over and over and over again.
This game is no fun. It is frustrating and causes me to have to resist the temptation to pull my hair out. I loved the Solitaire X game. If I played my cards well, I moved forward to the other games, like Mahjong, which I really enjoy. In this game, it take hours to get to the extra games.
One bad part of not recommending this game is that it does no good to caution players to play the demo before purchasing because the impossible, unfun hands come after you get to the extra levels.
Boring. Frustrating and boring. I certainly do not recommend this game.
Same old, same old, same old. More leaves, more animals, more scantily clad girls and that stupid robot. I've had enough.
Allow me to add a note to the developer that may also help those considering purchasing this game: PLEASE stop starting off the first levels with simple pictures in some type of misguided effort to progress to more detailed ones.
This isn't rocket surgery, Awigor. We are COLORING; something all of us learned as toddlers. We don't NEED easy levels. Again, it is coloring – ALL the levels are easy.
I wonder if Awigor really thinks we need to be eased in to more detailed pictures or if it is simply laziness on its part.
I will agree that considering the fact that this is mindless coloring, if you need a stress reliever this is your game.
The images are quite the same as usual and the colors still look muddy due to the ridiculous pillow embossing offered. The only other option is a flat image, so you may choose that, also. I wish Awigor would offer something more than a flat image or one that has been pillow embossed. I haven't seen anyone use pillow embossing since 1995.
