I love these types of games, however with an apple mouse, the game has a hard time determining "plus" or "X". I've found this with other games and have had to go to a two-button mouse as opposed to an apple mouse. Sometimes the games have a square you can click to switch back and forth, but this does not. Even that is a hassle. Otherwise the game seems good.

The first two in the series were great. I really enjoyed them. This one was WAY too easy - the mini games all had hints, even though I turned off the tutorial. And the whole game was WAY TOO short!!! Very disappointing. What a waste.
I don't recommend this game.

Shaolin Mystery: Tale of the Jade Dragon Staff
Travel across ancient China and help Yu as she searches for the mythical Jade Dragon Staff. Save your wrongly imprisoned friend!
This was pretty good. Once I figured out that you have to click all over, it was easy to see where to go next. The puzzles were varied but not difficult, in fact, almost too easy. The graphics were very well done and the music was soothing and apropos for the game theme.
It is a nice long playing game. The hidden object scenes are good - some things stand out, some you really have to look for. The ending was ok, but there looks like there will be a sequel.
Normally I really enjoy this type of puzzle, however, I was very disappointed in this one. I played for the trial hour and whipped thru all the puzzles in the first few levels. What I don't like with this maker's puzzles: a) the rows aren't highlighted-when the puzzles get harder, you can't tell what line you are on and b) you HAVE to X out all the unused squares. I do like that they have you X out entire rows. Most of this type of game just have you fill in the necessary tiles in a row. Not my favorite, but I wouldn't say it is bad. Play the trial hour and see what you think.
I recommend this game!

Ranks right up there with the "Drawn" series. LOVE it. The Dream Chronicles are all super challenging. Obviously I like the problem solving games. LOL
Enter the world of Drawn. Explore the Painted Tower and unravel its mysteries on your quest to save the hope of the kingdom. Can you reach the top of the tower?
