I just finished all 90 levels of this game and honestly, it's one of the best games I've played this year. It's got everything: cats, awesome gameplay, festive music, a fun story, and cute visuals. The match 3 levels are fantastic, you definitely have to think, but they're not as tough as the previous Suddenly Meow games. In some levels, you control one cat, and in others, you get to control two (so clever!). Sometimes you just clear bushes and other classic match 3 stuff. I really loved this one!
I especially liked the story. That wicked aunt will get what she deserves, I'll make sure of it. Everything in this game is to my liking, the story, the music, the graphics. The match 3 rooms are fun too.
I enjoyed it very much, except for the timed levels. The story and music are good, the graphics are great, but those timed levels ruined part of the fun. Overall, a good game.
Others have tried to copy this game. That says a lot about the originality and quality of Quadrium's gameplay. In this version they have included boss battles, and despite my initial doubts, they are actually quite fun (a bit demanding, yes.) Excellent game, and I hope Big Fish will make a sequel.
I get nostalgic when I play this game. It belongs to what I would call the golden age of casual games, when innovation was really innovation and not strange "pastiches." Rainbow Web had it all: beautiful color palette, pretty music, a fair level of challenge, and above all, a unique, incomparable gameplay. I don't understand why Big Fish didn't get more of these. Absolutely recommended. And this version, Rainbow Web 3, is undoubtedly the best of all, because saving Rainbow Village is a real pleasure.
