I really liked and enjoyed playing this game. The Bonus Chapter was really good and long. The mini-games were just right for me although there were a few that did not give specific enough instructions. But the thing that bothered me most was the background sound of knocking on a door. It was in most scenes and was very annoying. No way to stop it.
I recommend this game!

So I loved the game and was vastly entertained up until the last event in the main game, a ritual to be performed. I got kicked off and game was closed. I uninstalled and reinstalled and replayed the entire game until I was kicked off at the same point. FRUSTRATED!! I purchased after playing the demo and was so looking forward to the game. Have reached out to the Big Fish zendesk a day ago. Waiting for a fix.DO NOT buy until fixed.
I don't recommend this game.

Everything was great until I got kicked out of the game while doing the last activity, a ritual. Loved Book Travelers 1, A Victorian Story. Loved this one until the problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Played the game completely through a second time and still got kicked out at the same spot. Until the error is fixed DON"T BUY!

With just the trial to go on so far, I've enjoyed the game. I own all the Ms. Holmes games and have enjoyed playing them. This one seems to also be a good one. Puzzles are challenging but not too much. Visuals clear and sharp. There is a variety of HOPs; such as replacing items in a scene and hidden objects are found on papers in the HOP scene. The storyline is a good one, with someone trying to smear Sherlock's reputation. His niece investigates. I will buy full game.
