Has all the components you'd want in a HOG - great visuals, engaging story, interesting hidden object scenes & puzzles, and collectables.
I recommend this game!
When volcanic eruptions uncover hidden caves in Samoa, you can’t wait to decipher the ancient texts inside! A beautiful game with fun puzzles here and there. I didn't like some of the time elements, but it does add a little more challenge than usual.

I enjoyed all of these Hidden Expedition games, even the older ones, like this one. It might look dated here and there, but the scenes and puzzles are fun.

I wanted to start at the beginning of this series, but I ended up not finishing this one. I was actually interested to find out what would happen in the story, but the hidden object scenes were ugly even from a dated standpoint, and some of the mini-games were annoying. Timing was important, but it was hard to click in the exact spot it wanted you to. You don't really move around in this one, so it felt a lot more like a traditional HOG, which is not my preference.
I don't recommend this game.
