They've gone back in time to 2005 to the first Mystery Case File's format. I thought it was going to be using today's technology but visiting past places. Nope. Back to straight hidden object only. (I had just finished MCF: The Hidden Veil before trying this one out) It is like going back to playing Pong.
If you are prone to migraines or seizures, this game is not for you. It has waaaay too many blinding sparkles. So many that you cannot see the board when making matches. This would be a nice match 3 game if those were removed.
I have to agree with other reviewers that although this game seems like it would be fun, it quickly becomes quite annoying because of all the click click clicking with no dragging allowed. It felt like I had traveled back in time to the days of Pong. Plus the sparkles become just too much and you're not able to see the board because of it. I'll stick to the Fishdom series of match 3 games, now THEY are cute and relaxing.
Explore the vastness of a ship lost in time, what mysteries will you uncover amidst its Mayan idols, menacing sea creatures, and exotic treasures? Find out in this exciting new Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game on the open seas!
Same as all other pirate ship games. A scary dude, an octopus... and? You can't go here, not there either. Do silly little tasks to be able to go anywhere. The game window kept minimizing randomly. Arrrr, my interest be lost with this game, matey.
With all the running back and forth and the general ho hum of all the tasks it just plain tired me out from sheer boredom. Add to that the audacity to label everything, treating players like complete morons... Not for me.

I like that each shape has its own musical tone when matched. It is (visually) difficult to tell if a background has been removed. Power-ups MUST be used on certain objects or else they don't clear; I prefer to sometimes play while trying NOT to use power-ups, as a challenge to myself. Tokens must be collected in order to 'pay' for power-ups, but they can be difficult to spot with much movement on the boards. I still prefer my other (which I cannot name) fishy type match 3 games over this one.
Not very exciting. Too much boring dialog. Must click precisely or will not register. Very slow to change locations which gets boring because there is a lot of going back and forth. The visuals were nice.
