The new game has a new twist (unlocking colors) that makes it fun, interesting, and a little more challenging. The puzzles seem to be more challenging as well but logical thinking will always help.
This "game" has more to do with messing around with the cats that the match 3 part. Maybe that part is more for children but the actual match 3 could get frustrating for them. I'm pretty good at match 3 and I couldn't get 3 stars on the first puzzle. Not a good game.
I think this whole series is awesome! They have 2 levels of play, great graphics, and the solutions are logical. I really like the multiple color puzzles contained in the game. My only problem with this one is that there weren't enough puzzles.
I've tried several times and I just couldn't get through this game. I'm pretty good at griddlers but this one is horrible. The best griddler games have a set grid - 10X10, 20X20, etc. but always in blocks of 5 or 10 squares. The grids on this game were all over the place with the number of squares in a row or column not being the 5 or 10 combo. The size of the squares varied from okay to tiny. Most of the games couldn't be solved with logic and some of the bigger puzzles didn't give enough free errors in order for you to guess the squares and go to the next level. Last, in most griddlers, if you go to the adjacent column or row, you are okay. In this one, if you go to the next column or row and that space is or isn't taken, you get errors. This is a really bad game and i wish I had saved my money for something better.
The first thing I got was a pop up -that if I was running windows 10, there could be a problem. That didn't bode well. The game seemed to move very slow as tokens dropped out of the board. Overall, the game wasn't much of a challenge. It is based on a Bible story so if you don't want to get involved in that type of thing, don't play it. It is probably a good game for beginner or intermediate skill level but it just didn't get me excited to play it.
First, it was slow and there was no indicator as to whether the screen was frozen or something was going on. Second, there was a description of how to make the moves but not much on what the objective was. Third, I didn't see a way to go back to previous puzzles to try to get a higher count on stars. Overall, it just didn't excite me.
This is a typical match 3 game. However, I wish the creators had made more of an explanation of what was at the top of the screen and what the symbols mean. They don't say whether there is a time limit or move limit or what. It would be good to know that as well as have the ability to change the type of challenge (timed vs. move vs. regular).
The game was okay but the screens kept freezing for a period between scenes, which got real tedious. Ending was not the best. I think this would be a good game for beginners only.
This was just an overall bad game. Every match had the same obnoxious instructions that went away on its own time. The puzzles were terrible. The journal always went back to the first page. Quality was just plain bad.
