I enjoyed playing this even though it so very similar to other games out there. I am a TM addict so will buy these games just for an afternoons entertainment. The levels do get harder as you progress which adds to the re-playability, but I really don't see myself going back too often. The cursor is very "clunky" & I found myself getting frustrated trying to hit the sweet spot to pick an item up. I wish the devs had given us an option to disable it. The dialogue is funny & I liked the characters with attitude. All in all, a fun game that we have all seen before. I bought it as soon as my trial expired, but as I said earlier, I am a junkie. There are better TM's out there if you just want one or two of this genre. I recommend with some slight hesitation. Happy gaming Fishies ;-)
I can't believe I am actually saying this...."I didn't buy this game" This is the first builder I have ever passed on. I love this genre, having bought games that are very similar to another (ie Titanic/Eiffel, RTR, MKFAP) each has something challenging to offer, but this one is clunky & lame. i only had to play a couple of minutes to get frustrated & between the lagging cursor & the ho-hum game play, I was left thinking to myself that this one is def. NOT on my "to buy" list. Who'ld a thunk? I guess it had to happen some time.
I too, almost skipped this one as I thought it looked like a kids platform game. I am so glad I read the reviews before totally ignoring it. My initial thought in the trial, was that this was going to be too easy & there was no strategy element to it, ie: what to build first etc. I was totally wrong. Only a couple of levels in, I found myself having to re-play levels just to get gold. Before I knew it my 60 minutes were up & I knew it was a buy for me. I love builder/TM/strategy games & hate that they are so few & far between. Now I am going to go back & check out the first game, as I guess I must have made the same assumption with it that I almost made with this game. Happy gaming everyone ;-)
Played 15 minutes of the trial & knew it was for me! This is my favourite genre, so it really wasn't a hard choice to make. I squealed like a 5 year old at Christmas when I saw what the TGT was...Happy camper here. If you like Roads of Rome, My Kingdom etc this game is for you! Crisp clear graphics, amusing side quests, it's a winner. OK gotta go, I have a game waiting for me to get gold on all levels YAY!!
Discover the fabulous secrets that a jungle hides in Adelantado Trilogy: Book One! Help the brave and noble officer, Don Diego De Leon, to find and save the lost expedition.
So I will start out saying this is my favourite genre, but...this game takes it beyond the usual same-o same-o. It is a builder but it is also a Roads of Rome. You have to think one step ahead, ie: what am I going to need?, then plan accordingly. There are a few "Yicks" in the game that I don't like. Having to wait for the voice over to tell me I need to do something.."really? Like I hadn't already worked that one out Sherlock!" But it isn't enough of an annoyance to take away from the game. I wish you could destroy buildings after they were no longer of use, but that's just another aspect of the game. If you put a building some place, make sure it is in the right place, because it IS there to stay. I am one of those painful people who HAS TO GET GOLD on every level.....this one started out " Ha! Piece of cake" which quickly dissolved into..."Sweet mercy, how the heck am I supposed to do that?" I LOVE it! I haven't felt challenged like this in ages. Can't wait for the next chapter. it will probably take me that long just to get gold on half of the levels. LOL! Happy gaming all
I recommend this game!

I love Builders/Time Management/Strategy games & was really happy BF finally started offering us more choices. I play HOG's but this is where I am happiest. The graphics in this game are a small & a little cluttered. I had trouble using the game cursor so just switched to regular & away I went. There is a learning curve to this one & at first I thought it was slow & I wasn't going to like it, but after the first 5 or so levels it starts picking up. Overall I have had a fun couple of days trying to get expert on all levels to open up the bonus's. If you liked Roads of Rome,My Kingdom for a Princess etc. you won't be disappointed in this one. Like I said though it does take awhile to get going. Cheers
I really enjoyed Monument Builders Eiffel Tower & was looking forward to this one, but, and this is a BIG but....it is basically the exact same game. If you have already purchased Eiffel, then this would be a waste of your money. The only things different I can see after finishing the trial is different theme : Ship instead of Tower. Music: English instead of French. If you have NOT played the first game then by all means give it a go, it is a lot of fun and though there is a lot of "clicking" it takes a while to strategize about the "best" way to get things done..I am just really dissappointed in the developers for not challenging us with something new instead of the same game dressed up in new clothes. I gave it 2 stars only because it has been done before. I would have given it 4 stars if I had never played the first in this series.
