Reflections Of Life is my favorite game series. Everything else gets put aside when a new game is released.. The graphics are always gorgeous, much more detailed and intricate than other games. The games are easy to play, but not predictable or boring.. Love the steampunk vibe. I'm hearing impaired, so I asked a friend to listen to it-they said the music and other sounds are unobtrusive and a good background for game-play. IMO, Utopia is a great and worthy addition to the series and is as excellent as the rest of the games..
I have to be fair-I didn't get through the whole demo version. Boring. Back and forth, too many peeks through keyholes and overheard conversations that do not add anything substantive to game play, one puzzle in particular that made absolutely no sense (to me, anyway). Apart from that one puzzle, though, the game is not challenging or fun. I really did used to love the Haunted Legends games, and was excited about this one. But as with the last few games from this series it just did not measure up. Stunning visually but as gran used to say, you can put lipstick on a pig and dress it up, but you can't take it out to dinner. This game gets an unequivocal no from me.
