I always feel as if the ratings on these are kinda fluffed but, with this game, all the praise it's getting is absolutely deserved. It's beautiful, challenging and unique. The story was great too. I love that they took the traditional Beauty and the Beast idea and made it their own... It didn't lose my attention for a second. It wasn't overly difficult (I only used the guide twice, I think) but it didn't hold your hand either. Just an all around amazing game. I loved it!! Keep it coming!!

I downloaded this as soon as it came out! I couldn't wait to get into it... aaaaand didn't even make it through the demo. Don't get me wrong, it's beautifully done. It was more challenging than most so I found myself flustered easily because I wanted to see as much content as possible before the time ran out. I didn't care for the jump scares and the creepy background music/sounds really got to me. I could just be whiny... it is, after all, a Halloween game. But it was a bit much. If that's your bag, go for it. Again, it is a very well made game, it just wasn't for me. Download the demo and give it a try for yourself. Just make sure to leave the lights on...

It was beautifully creepy, just challenging enough (I never got super flustered) and the story actually made sense. It's an incredibly long game that managed to pull me in quick and keep me invested for the whole ride. The only teensy complaint I would have is that there was a bit of back and forth. Not enough to really bother me though, especially considering you have a jump-to map. There were a few inventory items that I held on to for what seemed like the entire game that I kept trying to use because, to me anyway, it just made sense. But I was wrong... a few times. lol But I suppose that just added to the challenge.
I've been playing games in this genre for a solid 10-15 years and I can honestly say that this one has stood out as one of the best. Great work, devs! Keep it up!
