I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I LOVE all the Suricate Software Jewel Match Games. But this one is disappointing at the end of the game. After each scene is completed, the game automatically converts all of your stars to gold coins. I have more gold coins that I will ever use. But in order to complete the bonus games (Mahjong), I need more stars. There is no way to get more stars, so there are 10 more mahjong boards that I can't access because I don't have enough stars. The next board requires 460 stars. I have 458. I can't see any way to exchange gold coins for stars, so there is no way I can complete this game. Because of this, I'm only giving it 4 stars. It's really a full 5 star game, but with the inability to complete the bonus games, I'm totally ticked off.

The thing I find most challenging in this game is navigating the collections. I can't figure out the logic to it. The Collection Rooms don't do anything. I can't find out why they are even there. There are no links that are on them. Chapters doesn't reveal any navigation possibilities. I accidentally found some new puzzles, but can't figure out how I did it. Nor can I find them again. It's just very frustrating because I enjoy this casual game. Maybe I'm the only one with this problem, but I doubt it. Can't recommend or not recommend this because I just don't understand it.
I play solitaire because it is relaxing for me. This game doesn't meet my requirements. It has beautiful graphics. It is challenging to win a level, but usually can be accomplished after several tries and purchasing of boosters. But another reviewer mentioned that they couldn't get beyond a certain level For me, that was Level 20. I've collected all the golden scarabs, but unless you get at least one star in the level, you can't go on. I've replayed level 20 dozens of times, and just can't earn even one star. I even got to the point of only 3 cards remaining, failed the level, and no stars. This is not my idea of fun.
Enjoyed playing this. There were some new aspects I hadn't encountered in other games that were a challenge. My major problem with this game is that I do not understand why it was a Collector's Edition. There were a few extra puzzles that you could solve after the game ended. But not enough to consider it a Collector's Edition. Not worth the extra price.
