We are so far removed from MCF its crazy. I still have no idea what the story was about, it was like it was being made up as they went along, it was really fragmented, you have to do really weird things, like expose a metal nest in a restaurant kitchen fire for a metal phoenix :/, copying someones signature from a wall. It's like the whole thing was A.I generated and it's the shortest game I;ve ever played, I can spend a good couple of days playing most of these games but it was done in less than 2.5 hours. On the plus side it's a beautiful game, lots of bright colours some of the puzzles are entirely regugitated and very odd, but I didn't mind them so much, but there are a LOT. The hidden object scenes were the best thing about it, at least they'd tried to make that different. It's not worth £19.99, so either get the CE or wait for BOGOF. I'm going to stop getting my hopes up about MCF and go back to my old games
I don't recommend this game.
Who could turn down an opportunity to change the past?

A decent HOG worthy of the MCF name! I know we find it difficult to let Ravenhearst go as it captured so many peoples imaginations, and showed just how innovative and complex HOG could be, but I am seriously bored of what is offered now. This is the closest it's come to being nearly as good as the original games, I bought it without seeing any of the game play and I wasn't dissapointed. It's interesting, fun and has the games within games that made RH so interesting and challenging. I really hope they carry on in this vein as it's great to see
