This game was wonderful and challenging. However, I played it a while back ago on my iPad. I definitely recommend on either PC or tablet but just fyi, it is possible to play this game on the tablet for free. Happy gaming.

Whenever I see Boomzap come out with one of these games, it’s an automatic purchase for me. Let me be clear: The Awakening series is worth the money. The series of Awakening, Otherworld and Dana Knightstone are some of the best HOP games you’ll ever play. Botanica is sensational as well but they only published a main game and a sequel. Emberwing was a masterpiece too. I’ve played and replayed these games. I would love to see a CONTINUATION of these—or how about a new series? We know they have the talent! If they’re remastering the Awakening series, they can continue some of these stories too…or bring us a new series! I’m not complaining, I’m simply begging for more!!!
For those of you having trouble unlocking your purchase…

I enjoyed this game from Elephant games. The visuals by this dev are always superb, and the storyline was entertaining. Like several others I ran into a purchasing problem, and here’s a fix: I outright purchased this game without playing the demo first. After purchase, I downloaded it. Once downloaded I had the frustrating dual option of playing for 90 minutes or purchasing full price. My next step was going into my purchase history from inside game manager and scrolling through my games to this one. It showed “Activate” which I selected and it downloaded fully and the game was activated to play. Utilizing your tool bar from within game manager is also more user friendly than the website itself. You have the ability to scroll through your games alphabetically rather than by purchase date, which unfortunately is the only way you can scroll through your purchase history on the site. Happy gaming!
The awakening series has always been a delight for HOPA lovers. And this is a classic beautifully remastered. This dev is attributed to some of the most original series of games: Otherworld, Awakening, Dana Knightstone, Emberwing (although Emberwing was a single game and not a series) have some of the most interesting stories and challenging games. That said, wouldn’t it be nice to have a continuation of these, instead of a remastering? Wouldn’t it be great to have a 4th installment of Otherworld, or another story from Dana Knightstone? Seriously…are we done with originality at this point? When we’re just remastering old games? This is not a successful way to reintroduce the joy of these games from 2010-2015. Bring some new, original games to the table and challenge and charm us again. Puh-leez
These days it’s getting more difficult to keep the interests of the players. How many times can you revisit the same storyline with the same mini games and HOPs? It’s refreshing to see that Friendly Fox keeps these important points at the forefront of their minds—or at least they did with this game. Happy gaming!
